Excellent room with dramatic view of Mont Blanc and other peaks. Paragliders landed right in front of the hotel - most entertaining. The breakfast was very good too. The staff were most helpful.

Vraiment un beau séjour sur toute la ligne!

Like not being in direct downtown area of Chamonix. Beautiful views of Mount Blanc and paragliders landing in the field off our balcony. Very warm and charming sitting areas in the lobby, bar, and outside deck. Every staff member was wonderful!

The hotel and breakfast were really nice, but the owner was rude to us. We had our baby with us, who for some reason was not registered in their system. When we arrived, they said that normally we should book a larger room (and pay more) when traveling with a baby, but that it was fine for now. However, when we were about to leave, the owner suddenly changed her mind and demanded that we pay extra because of the baby – even though we had not been given a larger room.

The price for a 10-month-old baby is €20 per night without a bed, or €20 extra for a baby bed. On top of that, it’s €12 per night for a dog. And if you want to enjoy your own champagne in the room, they charge another €20.

In short: the hotel and breakfast are nice, but the management will find ways to get extra money from you.

Clean, great service and location

Hôtel La Sapinière was fantastic. Firstly the rooms and balconies were excellent and the views were amazing. Its a short and easy walk into town but ifs far enough out to be very peaceful. The breakfast was tasty, especially the pastries, and the bar area was lovely with a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices. Finally the staff were so helpful and friendly helping with transport options and excursion ideas. Do not hesitate to book Hôtel La Sapinière!

Nice hotel with lovely check in staff.

There's not much to not like here. The room and location was great. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good. We had an outstanding view from our window. Loved it.
