Great hotel and recommend it if the location works for your visit to Austin area. The 5th level bar and view over the hills was wonderful. The hotel room was well designed with plenty of lights, plugs, counter space, and seating. We ate at Carve restaurant nearby, which was also excellent. Plenty of parking, including shaded parking within short walking distance.

We had a beautiful experience! The staff was friendly and helpful! Also, the beds were very comfortable!!!

Clean and modern

Spent a couple of days here at the AC Hotel in Austin’s hill country. It was a wonderful experience. From the clean, well kept rooms to customer service at front desk and throughout the hotel. I was in town for a conference which was held at the hotel in one of their meeting spaces. It was wonderful. The staff was attentive to our needs and so friendly. Sue, helped us with our breakfast and lunch spread and she was so accommodating and the food was fantastic! Thank you for great hospitality!

After a horrible experience at another Austin property where multiple complaints went unanswered, I decided to check out after the first night and move to AC Hotel Austin Hill Country — and let me tell you, it was one of the best decisions I’ve made in all my business travels.

From the moment we walked in, DAVIS at the front desk completely changed the direction of our trip. His professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail were absolutely top tier. He took the time to educate us on all the amenities of the hotel and when I mentioned I had an important Zoom meeting, he immediately arranged a private space for me to take the call. That level of awareness and service is rare nowadays and deserves recognition.

After my meeting, we met SUE in the restaurant and buffet area, and all I can say is WOW. Sue completely turned our world upside down in the best possible way and brought light back into our day after our previous hotel experience. She made us feel welcomed, valued, and genuinely cared for. Her flawless attention to detail, warmth, professionalism, and overall presence reminded me of a world-class maître d’. Every luxury hotel should have someone like Sue.

Then came the food…

Chef MARIA came out personally to greet us, and let me just say this: Maria is a culinary genius. Every single thing she prepared was incredible and we absolutely devoured her creations. You can tell she cooks with passion, pride, and excellence.

What honestly blows my mind is that AC Hotel is not even considered Marriott’s top luxury tier brand, yet this property delivered a level of hospitality and service that surpassed many high-end luxury hotels I’ve stayed at across the country.

I travel constantly for business and very rarely does a hotel impact me enough to stop and write a review — but this property absolutely did.

Quite honestly, other properties in Austin, especially Austin Marriott South, should come study and train under this team because this is what true hospitality looks like.

To DAVIS, SUE, and MARIA — thank you for reminding us what exceptional service truly feels like. You made a lasting impact on our trip and we will absolutely be back.

I’m an Austin local that decided to take a staycation in the Southwest area. The hotel is beautiful. A huge highlight was the service. Jamie at the front desk was extremely helpful for our request of a hillside facing room. Sue, who assisted me with my breakfast order was warm and inviting. She was also attentive and efficient. Definitely will be back!

I stayed here for a business trip from April 27, 2026 to May 9, 2026 for a total of 14 days, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Apologies for the delayed review, but I truly wanted to share how wonderful my stay was.

The room was nice, clean and comfortable, but what truly stood out was the exceptional service—it was even more special than I expected.

Sue is truly special—she takes excellent care of every guest. The breakfast she prepared every morning was fantastic and always a great start to the day. Her kindness and attention made a big difference in my overall experience.

I would also like to thank Holden at the reception, who was incredibly helpful with all the small details and requests. Holden even remembered my preferences, which made the stay feel very personalized and welcoming.

Overall, I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, whether for business or leisure.

The ambience, location

What a fantastic hotel! From the moment you pull in to the parking area and enter the front doors, the friendly staff is there to help.
We had a small housekeeping issue in our room that we let the front desk know about. We left for a few hours and came back to be surprised with a beautiful decoration of towels in a heart-shape laid out and some goodies that were left for us in appreciation. Who does that now days?!!! Marriott.❤️

Oh, not sure why the few breakfast choices are priced at $25 for guests. Maybe it's because there are restaurants are easily within walking distance, a movie theater is across the street too! Many guests were walking to breakfast so it definitely doesn't hurt them.
