Had ants crawling in and around our fridge. Also a big sticky spot on the floor by our door.
The property is very unique and the owner is very pleasant. It is an older property that does need some TLC, but overall it was comfortable.
Incredible welcoming vibe. A beautiful 3 story log cabin designed by the owner. So relaxing and the owner is a terrific host. Certainly a rare treat
The room was different from the one shown in the picture. I was expecting a little more nicer of a room but the bed was old, dingy, and uncomfortable. The ice machine didn't work, and my car got broken into sometime in the night.
good place to stay
Never got my room that I booked I waited and knocked on the front doors for two hours will never book with oyo again
I was denied a room because the manager said his computer canceled my reservation because the price I paid on Hotels.com was cheaper than what he rents that room for. This all occurred after I paid and arrived at this dump of a hotel. The hotel never contacted me to let me know that I had no room to stay in. I am currently in the middle of trying to get a refund from Hotels.com. This hotel is a scam and I would avoid this dump like the plague. If this is the way this hotel wants to operate, they need to be removed from Hotels.com.
Check in experience was great, owner was very nice but everything after that went down hill. The room we stayed in was a non-smoking room, exactly what I asked for, however, it smelled of cigarette smoke and there was so much of a deodorizer smell to cover up the smoke smell that it was hard on the nose. We were extremely tired so just decided to put up with it. The bathtub and bathroom floor had cigarette burn marks on them. The security bolt in the door was inoperable and the sheets, though they appeared to have been washed, had stains on them and the carpet had debris on it. Like I mentioned, we were very tired, the room was paid for and didn't want the drama of addressing it. Just gutted it out. We've been in worse. I just wouldn't stay there again.
I'd stay again.
No elevators. Very dirty and people outside sitting behind their cars smoking weed.
It was amazing! We will definitely return again someday! The rooms were really big. We lived the whole environment 💜✌️
No privacy locks on door even dead bolt non-functional Poor layout in room. People were nice room was cleanish.
Dirty, unsafe and looks nothing like the poctures
Very clean and cozy the staff are very friendly helpful..
It’s a great structure. A log cabin basically but enormous. Older property but they have upgraded various elements. My vanity was brand new for example. Staff is attentive. They have nice art on the second floor.
This property is filthy, toilets barely flush, bedding was not clean, furnishings were torn and unattractive. I seriously think public health should take a look at this property to decide whether they should be allowed to stay open. The continental breakfast was fruit and packaged muffins which were almost gone when we went down at 7:30 am. The staff were nowhere to be found. We would not have stayed had it not been 10:00 pm, and had no other options. I have never been more disappointed with a stay.
Extremely dirty rooms
Very clean place, pleasant smell (you could tell it was clean), appears to have been updated. Conveniently located. Owner very friendly and helpful. The only issues were the lack of an elevator to the second floor and the fact it was advertised as providing "breakfast" when in fact all that was available was coffee and fruit. It was available all day but that is more of a snack in my opinion than a meal.
Casa Loma was very clean and had a clean smell to it. I love the fact the floors were laminate or something of that nature, not the nasty carpeting most places have. It was very convenient to the highway and places to eat. The owner was super friendly and helpful. The reasons I did not give it a excellent overall rating include the fact the information about the property states "breakfast included" "Breakfast" was fruit and coffee which was available all day. To myself and my traveling companion fruit is more of a snack not a breakfast. The other downside was the fact there was no elevator access. I would stay there again however.
Weird place. Maybe haunted. Just the weirdest overall energy/decor, but nothing terrible. I've stayed in much worse.
