Hotel staff were pleasant and the breakfast was good.
Pros:

The buffet breakfast was exceptional providing a variety of options. There could have been more gluten free options.

Cons:

The location of the hotel was not in a nice area, with a homeless mission up the street. I was given the option of a courtyard or view room which I was advised was a nice view and a great room. I decided to go with the view option but we overlooked the car park and the main road. Not exactly a nice view to look at like we were expecting.

This is exactly as advertised you can’t beat the excellent location and breakfast
Pros:

You cannot beat the location! It’s perfectly situated just steps from Old MTL just perfect, near metros and you just can’t beat the location. It’s in Chinatown and lots of choices for good food .
Late at night you have access to the hotel by your room card so I like the extra security. Breakfast has a lot of choices such as waffles , eggs , sausages, hashbrowns etc . and it’s always being refilled & its a great value & you have ample time to make to breakfast.

Cons:

During your stay the rooms get a « light «  clean but I wouldn’t call it that all they do is change the towels & sometimes make the bed , they don’t even empty the garbage . To improve they could actually do the light clean , make beds , change towels and empty garbages . The one thing I will say is that if you ask for new sheets, they will but you have to ask daily for this.

Cons:

Ça m’a coûté plus cher que prévue et le petit déjeuner a été bondé de monde. Il n’y avait pas d’assiette, pas d’ustensiles, pas de café, pas de place… ce fut désagréable.

When we had breakfast, the tables weren't cleaned fast enough. I had to move previous people's dirty plates and bowls in order to have somewhere to sit.

nice building, run-down area, thought i'd enjoy roof-top bar...but doesn't open until 5 pm.
Pros:

newer hotel.

Cons:

breakfast can be chaotic, too many people opting for room w/breakfast, hard to find seat. Dry hotel-neither restaurant nor roof-top bar open until 5PM, couldn't enjoy afternoon drink at rooftop bar. Want a drink walk 3 blocks back to old Montreal.

Rooms are nice, liked the bed

Cons:

The Breakfast offer was very poor, both quality and layout!! At busy times there is nowhere to sit, and masses of confused guests trying to get the meagre offer of reconstituted egg, cold turkey sausages and diced fried potato....whilst there was a small fridge for yogurt, bagels, and some fruit it was in no way a decent offer. The hotel is nice as are the rooms
