Hotel Sky Cape Town

Great and safe location, the room was very small, there was no space for storing the staff from our suitcases. But we enjoyed coffee machine on the floor and great breakfast service.

Very practical hotel, excellent location, and it delivers exactly what it promises. The rooms are very clean, with amenities such as coffee machines available in the corridors. Heated swimming pool. My family and I really enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is dream place to be in...its location in the heart of Cape Town and giving people the beautiful view of Atlantic ocean and Table Mountain

Rooms were small but clean and did the job for our short stay. In a great area of town, so it was easy to get to The Waterfront. Service was great, but the food could have been better. Great view of Table Mountain on a clear day!

Whatever you do - don’t stay here. Service is absolutely horrendous. They pay no attention to guests and their need.

Elevator system must be 100 years old. It is more or less always broken and takes at least 15-20 minutes to get to the top floor.

When leaving the hotel - the elevator took more than an hour. And nobody from the hotel assisted me - though they said they were doing so.

Cape Town is great - this hotel is not. Avoid.

Some things were good and some terrible. Funelwa was delayed and slow in responding to emails which was painful when u needed info. Rooms are small but that's is ok. Coffee not in room so you have to get in the hallway. Not practical but coffee delicious. Very busy place with young people and noisy. Beautiful views and front desk great. I will go again as it's central.

We had an excellent stay. The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the views were amazing. I would definitely recommend Hotel Sky Cape Town.
Overall, my experience was fantastic. The service exceeded my expectations, and the amenities were top-notch.

I checked out with one day left on my scheduled stay and the hotel refused to give me a refund for the unused night based on some unfair policy they claimed they had. I also paid money as a deposit for expenditures that I may incur during my stay. I did not use all the money and when I asked for my refund they asked me to send an email which I did. Its been more than 6 days and I have not even received an email acknowledging receipt of email.

Having a coffee machine on each floor which I could access at any time was a cherry on top!

I enjoyed my stay, the staff members were friendly and so welcoming. The location was a 10/10 super convenient.

My fiancé and I work constantly so this one night break away was incredible. The Hotel is beautiful and very calm and peaceful. it has amazing views of the city. Breakfast buffet was wonderful but would have enjoyed abit more seating space in the restaurant. we will definitely visit again

Air conditioning did not work, too loud to open window, Room much too small to accomodate 2 people and luggage, positive: free espresso in front of the room

The hotel's location was ideal, with easy access to the waterfront and numerous restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. The staff was very friendly and professional and the food was excellent. Thank you Hotel Sky Cape Town for a great stay.

It was our 3rd City in South Africa. And yes it was an amazing stay for us. Good modern Rooms, very kind and friendly staff... and a delicious big Breakfast with an amazing View over the City, the ocean and the mountains of Cape Town.

We were a large group booking at Sky after a year end function. Wanted to watch rugby in Sky bar, which was one of the reasons why we wanted to stay here. Unfortunately we were told we cannot use Sky bar to watch rugby (as we were first told we could), due to a private function. We might have considered booking elsewhere then.

Overall disappointed. Room was dusty and dirty even after cleaned. Air conditioning was not working properly blowing hot and cold. Woke up in the morning unwell due to dust. Reported to front desk and management was extremely rude and disrespectful. I requested for a refund as it was a stressful experience and wanted to leave.

Stayed for 4 nights. Hotel was not fancy but was a great value at $600 USD total for four nights. Great location, included breakfast was high quality, place was clean, and the staff were all friendly and helpful.
My only real complaints, that were minor, have to do with the rooms. There didn't seem to be any rooms with king beds available and the rooms did seem to be big enough that they could add king-size beds. As a couple, we got a room with two standard beds so we would both get a decent night's sleep as we would have been miserable in one full size bed. The other room issue was that the room was the placement of the tv. The room is narrow and the tv sticks out far enough from the wall that you can't walk between the bed and the wall where the tv was without bending over and scooting under the tv. This was a pain in the middle of the night to reach the bathroom and got old after 4 days. Considering the price, the room issues are very minor and wouldn't affect my decision to stay here again if I ever return to Cape Town.
Also, the pool is probably only usable when it gets warm in the summer. The pools are on the higher floors and are very exposed to the wind and somewhat blocked from the sun. We went out on the pool deck once during our stay and it was freezing.

Hotel Sky ticks all the right boxes. Simply put- all I need is properly catered for. The bed, the linen, the room, the breakfast. Excellent staff. Perfectly located. I am a fan
