I love all around the area and places to go
Good experiences.
The Hotel Staff and rooms where very noce and well kept.
Do not stay here! We JUST had two employees let themselves into our room without knocking or any notification. It is 9:00 am and they tried to tell us it was due to us supposed to be already checked out. Stood there a few minutes arguing that k had already confirmed the night before that check out is at noon. Once I said that, they backed down.
1. Why are they entering rooms w/o knocking?
2. They acknowledge that check out is at noon.
I called the front desk and they couldn’t explain why their employees are entering a room w/o notification. In fact they told me we were “okay”?!&!?
For your safety, DO NOT STAY here.
The Courtyard by Marriott Merida Downtown is now one of my favorite places to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was nice, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. I'll be staying there again in the near future. Thank you for making my stay really good.

Staff was pleasant and room was clean.
The staff was amazing but my mom got stuck in the elevator for approx 10 mins and they put us up in the 10 floor which is the top floor not including the rooftop and there was a lot of noise and movement one night that went on u til I called downstairs and they had the noise stop. I believe some workers were moving tables and chairs and other heavy things around

This hotel was outstanding, one of the best! The free Underground parking was so easy and convenient. Lobby personnel were friendly, professional, and spoke English well. Restaurant staff and food was excellent and the breakfast was amazing. We absolutely loved our stay there.
