Location. We needed a place to stay
It was run down, doors falling off, bathroom didn’t flush. Sheets & beds were bad looking. We slept in our cloths on sleeping bags
It was great if you like dry cereal with no milk. Afraid to taste because it could have been sitting there for months. Half a pot of coffee that wasn’t turned on looked like it could have been sitting there for days cold. False advertising with pictures of hot breakfast being served and included in price.
Wi-fi might have been okay if only we were given the password.
Bathroom worked except for the light!
Shortly after arriving in the room someone unlocked the door and opened without even knocking, said she was the owner.
We were immediately concerned by the outside appearance, checked the bed and was infested with bedbugs. The clerk said I needed to get a refund through Expedia and the clerk would not respond to Expedia
Horrific.
It was a vintage hotel/motel in a small community. Not bad, just older.
Just what the doctor ordered.
Hotel room did not have a door latch
Hotel is clean but not what we expected.
very homey and a nice little place in the middle of nowhere. when i rolled in the town was covered in fog. feels like a time capsule
Everything was good except noise coming from next door.. music playing at 2:40 till 4:00 am door slamming coming in and out dogs barking loud singing.. they did let us sleep
Check in was totally disorganized. Checked into rooms not cleaned from previous guests. Towels jammed into broken windows to plug broken glass.
Need I say more!
The check in guy Tony was polite and tried to help us where he could.
There was a knock at the door at 10:30pm. I asked who it was and they hesitate a few minutes then said maintenance. I asked what can I help you with? They hesitated a few minutes then said door you come to the front desk a few minutes ago. I said no, have a good night. After that someone was slamming a door at the back of the motel outside of the room which the lock was broken. They continued to do this for about an hour after wards. When I disclosed this to the staff in the morning, I was informed this was not the first time he heard someone doing the same slamming the doors before.
I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone. Half the time they have no wifi, and the other half their dog is barking so much you couldn’t hear the tv anyway.
The showers have little to no hot water, the main area always smells like weed. They advertise as having a free breakfast but the property managers are too lazy to take the signs falsely advertising let alone serve a breakfast.
Only positive I have is how private it was. I was not bothered by any staff the whole time I was there.
It was on the way to our final destination
Room smells so bad I had to buy fresh spray, stains all over the carpet, chairs. Shower leaked from the ceiling
Sadly, if you choose to get off I-70 to go to Colorado Springs, options are very limited for motels. This one should have been called the O-NO Hotel, not OYO. We reserved a king size bed, and upon arrival learned they don't have any and have informed Expedia of this. They wanted to charge us extra for a room with 2 beds, but backed down when they realized we had already paid. It was to have been a non-smoking room, but believe me, this was not the case, and we weren't moved when I requested a change. A train came through across the road at 5 a.m., very puny air-conditioning, and breakfast consisted of cereal, with no milk provided. Just keep driving, although again, options are limited.
Just to stay for 1 night.
It was cute and charming
Nothing
Room was dirty. Paid for a king bed got a full size bed. Bugs all over. The floors turned my feet black.
The only really ok thing was the air conditioning- that worked ok. There was no breakfast because the guy didn't show up.
Half a dozen bugs on the bathroom floor.
