Location, decor, clean,quiet
I wasn’t able to close the curtains all the way so I saw all the lights from the street coming in when I was trying to sleep.

I arrived late at night after a flight delay and a long drive from Atlanta. The check-in associate was friendly and welcoming, but when I asked for a glass of water, I was told that this property does not provide complimentary drinking water, despite my Bonvoy membership.
After a long day of travel, I found that both disappointing and frustrating, especially since other Fairfield properties I've stayed at in Augusta and Dublin offered complimentary water for guests in the lobby. It may seem like a small detail, but charging travelers for a basic necessity leaves a poor impression and falls short of the level of hospitality I've come to expect from the Marriott brand.
Clean comfortable hotel
Great location. Gentleman that ran breakfast in the morning was always working and doing the best with that he had. Super friendly and keeping everything stocked and clean. Appreciated the computer and printer as well, I had some last min items to print and take care of.

This property is an embarrassment to the Marriott brand. Let’s start with the fact that every time I went to the front desk, no one was there. Apparently they like to hide out in the back room. Maintenance is not a priority at this hotel. Bedside reading lights did not work. There are two lights over the bathroom sink, but only one worked. Housekeeping never showed up to refresh our room for our second night. Room air conditioner would not maintain the set temperature. There is no A/C in the hallways where rooms are located. Stairwell was dirty. Pitiful breakfast; fruit was way past its prime. toaster did not work correctly; the attendant for the breakfast rarely came out to check on or refresh things.
When I was able to find a desk clerk, I expressed my concerns; they were brushed off and nothing was done to rectify the situations. I’m sure Athens has much better options for a hotel. This property is poorly managed and should be avoided at all costs.
It was lovely! There's an indoor pool that's only 4ft deep and it's warm. They have a fitness center and free breakfast. The shower has great pressure. The location is perfect as it's between two shopping malls and it has a Kroger grocery store also across the street from the hotel. The room was very clean and it was a great value for the weekend we stayed.
Easy check-in free parking, first night had a room on the 2nd floor right next to a busy road and an active junkyard, area dumpster pickup starts early and lots of backup warning beeper. I was able to change to a quieter room the next night. Pool doesn't open till 9:00. Breakfast is typical free hotel fare. Walkable restaurants in the area.
Staff was nice
There was an event in town, so the rates were doubled. That is not a $350 a night establishment .
