Non era chiaro che la reception era al 3 * piano.
Room was great (small but to be expected) and had everything we needed. Loved the yukatas. Bathroom was great, the shampoo/conditioner/body wash they provided was really nice -and shower was powerful!
Highlight was definitely the spa/onsen/sento for guests - I didn’t realise this when booking but it was amazing! The perfect way to relax after walking all day.
Most staff I interacted with spoke barely any English. The check-in and check-out is all done electronically via like a machine. There reception is staffed but they aren’t very forthcoming- when we arrived there was 4 staff at reception and they didn’t greet us or help us with check-in. I was clearly struggling to use the machine and they didn’t offer to help until I had to call somebody over. They were helpful enough if you actively ask them for help. It was our first hotel in Japan so retrospectively I guess they are very culturally reserved.

My stay at Granbell Hotel Osaka was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The hotel is modern, stylish, and very well-maintained. The room was spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy, allowing me to rest well after long days of exploring the city.
The staff were outstanding—always friendly, polite, and willing to assist with anything. Their professionalism and warm hospitality truly made a difference. The location is another huge plus, as it is conveniently situated near public transportation, shopping areas, and many great restaurants, making it easy to get around Osaka.
Overall, the atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing and welcoming. Every detail, from the interior design to the service, exceeded my expectations. I genuinely felt at home and well taken care of throughout my stay.
Honestly, there was very little to dislike. If I had to mention something, the room size was slightly compact, which is quite typical for hotels in Japan. However, the space was very well-organized and functional, so it did not negatively impact my experience at all.
Rauhallinen hotelli erinomaisella sijainnilla. Aamupala oli monipuolinen. Kiva bonus aulan kahvi- ja vesiautomaatit sekä ilmaiset kosmetiikkatuotteet. Kattobaarista kivat maisemat ja muutenkin viihtyisä paikka istuskella.
Huone oli melko pieni ja matkalaukuille ei ollut kunnolla tilaa.
