Pros:

The location is great and you can walk anywhere in Takayama. The suites (all around rooms) with 4 beds on the 8th floor are amazing. Big, efficient and cozy. There is also a lounge on the 8th floor with free drinks and sweets. You can feel that the hotel is new. It smells new and is extremely clean.

Cons:

The breakfast wasn’t good. We tried the vegan Western option and the Japanese one and we didn’t like either. It was nicely packaged but not really tasty.

Pros:

No podemos poner una pega al hotel puesto que las 2 noches que pasamos allí cumplió de sobra con nuestras expectativas; si hubiera que poner un pero, el desayuno, que en la opción occidental viene la comida en una cajita en vez de poder elegir tú en un buffet, pero más allá de eso que es una cosa muy subjetiva por los gustos de cada persona, no hay nada que reprochar porque el parking aunque es pequeño para el tamaño del hotel sólo 40 plazas, hay bastantes alternativas a 5 minutos escasos del hotel.

Location was great. Room was nice, clean, nice view. The laundry facilities were a bit stinky but other than that. Great stay.

Pros:

Perfect location for spending one or even several nights in Takayama. Extremely friendly staff, everything is close by (5-12 minutes by foot).

Highly recommended, also with (private) onsen (private on request).
