Options to use the swimming pool in the gym were a positive.
I purposely selected this hotel because I anticipated that the weather would be hot and air-conditioning was advertised as a facility. I stayed during a heatwave and the AC barely worked and didn’t cool the room. It also smelled damp.
Good reception support
The hotel was very clean and tidy, rooms were nice and the air con was working which was a bonus
Not so much the property but the food of an evening in the bar wasn’t particularly good. Gammon wasn’t the best and wasn’t cheap either
Convenient location
We ordered food and after 45 mins hadn’t received any, when we complained we were told we had already had it, it turned out it had been delivered to another table and we were made to feel like liars. Felt very uncomfortable
The pool and sauna and steam room food was ok but staff was talking
Pubs in the shower bed had blood in it and pubs as it wasn't changed was disgu
Wir haben zwei Nächte im Village Hotel Southampton verbracht und waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel ist zwar eher einfach gehalten, bietet aber alles, was man für einen kurzen Aufenthalt braucht. Unser Zimmer war sauber, das Bett bequem und der Check-in verlief unkompliziert.
Besonders praktisch fanden wir die guten Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Hotel. Die Lage ist ebenfalls gut, wenn man Southampton und die Umgebung erkunden möchte.
Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit, sodass wir uns willkommen gefühlt haben. Insgesamt bietet das Hotel ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wer kein Luxusresort erwartet, sondern ein sauberes, modernes und funktionales Hotel mit guten Parkmöglichkeiten sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Wir würden für einen Kurztrip jederzeit wiederkommen.
