Blind in the bathroom kept randomly opening and closing causing me to wake up at 4am with the sunrise

Bar staff were rude, my friend has parkinsons and was refused a drink because they thought he was drunk. We explained and they apologised, they then came over and said do we want another drink as they were closing, we said yes went to the bar and was then told no........ got the impression that the staff just wanted to go home ...!!!!

It's a little out of the way.

The stuffy, windowless small rooms. This room was supposidly a better one. Only window was small in the shower room. The toilet shower etc can be seen from the small square bedrooms through a very clear glass door. You have to sit back on the bed to give anyone on the loo privacy. All rooms are exactly the same design. The carpet in the room was stained.

Restaurant staff were unhelpful in that they did not explain that certain foods at breakfast needed to be individually requested and we were left wondering. The staff involved were not interested except to chat to their friends. At dinner, instead of two starters first, then two main meals as ordered, my starter and main meal came out together, and my partner got nothing. They took them back of course, but we then had to wait ages for anything to turn up. Who would expect a starter and a main course to be served at the same time and the other person to be given nothing? Then who knows how long the food (a bit dry) was left to keep warm?
The room was not comfortable as above us was possibly a dance studio and when we wanted to rest quietly after a long drive, all we could hear was thump thump thump. Very upsetting. We were very disappointed all round. For the cost of the room it was terrible.

Tiny room, no outside window other than in the bathroom, very over priced for what you get imo

Very noisy, bass guitar playing early evening, not sure if it was live music or somebody just had the guitar with them

Small room

Check-in staff friendly but no mention as we checked in at just after midnight with breakfast selected and paid for that breakfast finishes at 0900 Mon-Fri.
Morning reception staff no eye contact and quite uninterested in any communication.
Breakfast staff similarly lacking in hospitality skills. Arriving at 0902 to find all hot food gone, toaster off and seemingly begrudgingly letting 4 of us in to pick over what was left - which wasn't much - very disappointed.
Floor above gym is noisy at all hours due use by shift workers - they acknowledge this when you mention it
Would not choose to stay again.

The fact that there was no warning in the booking process (unless e missed that), that the bathroom door was glass and completely see through, adjoining what was a fairly small bedroom

Voyant qu'il n'y avait rien proche de l'hôtel (bar, restau...), j'ai voulu changer d'hôtel. En allant sur l'appli Booking.com j'ai lu "Annulation gratuite" et j'ai donc annulé. J'ai reçu un mail immédiatement me disant que je serai facturé 160£. J'ai donc appelé l'hôtel de suite pour savoir ce qui était correct et l'hôtel m'a confirmé que je serai débité. J'ai demandé à annuler l'annulation mais ils m'ont répondu qu'ils ne pouvaient rien faire et que je devais contacter Booking.com. Et que ma rés étant annulée que je ne pouvais plus venir. J'ai donc contacté Booking qui me répète en vain que je dois voir avec l'hôtel bien que le bug soit sur leur appli pour moi. C'était pour un voyage professionnel donc mon entreprise n'est pas très satisfaite bien évidemment... A suivre
