Good experience but... (7.5 / 10)
Pros:

Great location, feels like an oasis/ cocoon in this fast paced city

Cons:

Felt mostly transactional. Wanted to like it more (and I've staying in many other 5 star hotels in my travels globally), but service was hit and miss. WhatsApp replies on the in-house number sometimes unresponsive for more than 10mins, after a couple of follow up messages. And housekeeping took 30mins just to deliver an extra pillow after they said they would bring it right away. I would have expected a higher standard from the Cappella brand. Also, seems like Capella doesn't have a pillow menu? Asked for a contour pillow for better neck support, but was told they don't have such pillows and could offer me another soft pillow. They eventually brought a foam pillow after I probed further and said I was surprised that Capella doesn't have a pillow menu.

During check-in, I felt the staff explaining the amenties was doing the minimum, asking me to refer to the iPad for details when I enquired on dining options - and she didn't explain the refreshment details at the Living Room, which I only found out later.. On other hand, I had really good service at the Living Room itself, they were super attentive and provided great service. And great experience at the gym/sauna/swimming pool also. So yes, rather hit and miss, but still a good experience overall -a 7.5 score out of 10. Maybe my view is influenced by some exceptional service I received earlier in year another resort in Phu Quoc, didn't get the same experience here.

Just perfect
Pros:

This property is an absolute feast for the eyes and a complete sensory reset. Aside it being one of the most beautiful properties we have ever explored, the staff were also an absolute joy. They paid attention to every single detail and were impeccable in their delivery. I would highly suggest Capella Hanoi to anyone planning on visiting. I wish we stayed longer.

Really good, made our anniversary a little more special.
Pros:

Its a beautiful hotel perfectly designed, and the fact that every room has its own story. Very helpful staff very clean room furniture was excellent. The cake on our arrival was amazing 10/10

Cons:

Resturant could improve their menu, we don’t eat pork and there was pork in nearly every. So we could dine in had to eat outside. But their breakfast is satisfying.
