Beautiful property. Comfortable beds
Pros:

This was a resort hotel. At regular hotel prices. Amazing location. Great amenities

Cons:

Breakfast was not good. But it was acceptable

Great value hotel on the coast
Pros:

Well located on Atlantic Blvd just around where Fajara turns into Bakau - great value for such a prime location.
Nice large pools and decent restaurant with reasonable prices all things considered. Large circular room with fan and aircon, good shower.

Cons:

Beach access is tide-dependent, didn’t get to see it during my one night stay.

A relaxing and not too busy hotel in a quiet area of coastal Gambia near bustling Bakau
Pros:

An old but refurbished hotel situated in a smart part of Fajara/Bakau on a cliff, steps leading down to a beach, breakfast restaurant views overlooking the sea, sound of waves…Hoja at the egg station deserves a mention…
Comfortable beds, good pillows, white cotton sheets, new bedspreads. The air conditioner and fan worked well, plenty of plug sockets. WiFi good fast enough. Hot water showers. Interesting artwork and sculptures
Mariama in reception always friendly, efficient and helpful, as were all staff. Tropic Gardens continues to improve…

Cons:

Didn’t like the background music, prefer the sounds of the sea and birds

1-2 days for relax after traveling around Gambia
Pros:

Good value for the place, hot shower and Ac Spa with very good massage, restaurant open throughout until 11 pm, breakfast from 7 am , pool - draft beer for 100 D 😜
