Pros:

The staff were really accommodating and friendly we also really liked the rooftop pool

Cons:

We had to change room 2 times which was annyoing first time due to construction noises which were very loud, second due to humidity issue the floor kept getting wet and they couldn’t fix it.

Lovely stay, lovely people
Pros:

Location was great, rooftop pool and bar were beautiful, staff were accommodating and so friendly. They did a beautiful arrangement on the bed for my friend as it was her birthday. Complimentary towels for the pool. They had a free shuttle bus running to a few places around the town which was great.

The worst experience ever in bali.
Unfortunately can’t make a foto or this 3 unsleeping nights because this hotel has a WEAK ROOMS SOUNDPROOFING!!!! You feel as in the cheap hostel… and you can hear even if one of the neighbors sneezes or yawns…
Service also weak, no one clean a room because no one in the lobby told us “to push the special button”.
The last one is a dirty cutlery and this “fresh” baguette, the one already as a stone.

And in the end…STAFF ASKED ME TO MAKE A GOOD REVIEW FOR THEM AT THE CHECK-IN MOMENT. So tricky!!!

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I booked two separate rooms at Citadines Berawa Beach Bali Resort, which is advertised as a 4.5 star property. The reality was completely different and honestly shocking.

Both rooms were filthy on arrival. One room had dead cockroaches and flies stuck in the coffee table crevices, coffee stains on the table, blood stains on the bed sheets, crumbs all over the dining chairs, dirty lampshades, stained couches, a bin that looked like it had been vomited in, and a strong smell of mould throughout the room. It was so unclean that we could not even sit down.

The second room was just as dirty and also had a large lizard inside. While I understand this can happen in a tropical climate, the staff response was unacceptable. Reception came with bug spray and told us to kill it ourselves if it came back.

When we complained, we were offered new rooms, which should never be necessary if rooms are cleaned properly before guests arrive. We were then made to wait three hours with no updates while staff claimed they were “deep cleaning” the replacement rooms. During this time, we could not relax or even sit down because of how disgusting the original rooms were. We were also told there would be water in the rooms, but neither room had any.

After wasting most of our evening, we decided there was no chance we could stay and asked for a refund. We did not stay a single night. Despite showing photo evidence of the filth, we were only offered a refund for one night.

The photos and rating online are extremely misleading and do not reflect the actual condition of this hotel. This place is not even close to a 4.5 star standard. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
