I just want to say a huge thank you to the team at Royal Villa Hotel in Hoi An for their amazing hospitality. I’m truly happy and grateful for the experience we had during our stay.
I was traveling with my mum, and she absolutely loved this hotel just as much as I did. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed and well looked after.
The hotel itself was wonderful — clean, comfortable rooms that stayed nice and cool, and a perfect location close to amenities and the main market area. But what really made it special was the incredible family who run it. They were so friendly, warm, always smiling, and their English communication was excellent, which made everything easy and stress-free.
We felt very safe and cared for the entire time. The owner even personally came to check on deliveries just to make sure they were for me and that everything was safe — such a thoughtful gesture that meant a lot to both of us.
Nothing was ever too much trouble. Every request we made was met with kindness and a genuine willingness to help. It honestly felt like a home away from home, and it’s thanks to them that we loved our trip so much.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Royal Villa Hotel to anyone visiting Hoi An. If I ever return — and I hope I do — I’ll book this hotel again without a second thought.

Checked in and didnt stay. Room smelled of mold and furniture bed extremely dated and old. Staff were friendly, but didnt refund me the entire stay, only half.
The location is great! I had a room without windows and it had moldy smell. Nice staff, they leave you alone.
I found the property acceptable & close to ancient town & night market.

Rooms small with visible mould on walls. Toilet has a glass door and barely obscured by curtain, so be prepared to get to know your partner or friend very well
Booked this hotel for a friend's and his spouse at the age of 60s. When they arrived at hotel, there is no one to help them with the luggage to the upper floor. Imagine a wet and late night two elderly need to carry both their big luggage and climb the staircase and the railing feels as if it gonna drop off any time.
The hotel also don't provide breakfast.
That's is the most annoying part is when they check out there is also no one to help them with the luggage down the stairs.
Cheap price, cheap value
The staff were so friendly. They upgraded me to a better room as a surprise for me, which I really appreciated.
It’s within walking distance to the Japanese bridge and from there you’re in the tourist my area.
My only complaint is that the water pressure in the shower was terrible, everything else was superb.
It was a very cozy and clean room.
The bathroom is a little small, but it is modern and clean
Family owned accommodation that was perfect location for us in Hoi An. 10 min walk to old town and lots of food options around. The beach was also an easy grab drive away. The staff were accommodating and we booked a reasonably priced day trip to My Son and transport to Da Nang through them.
The big shower head didn’t work properly but this was easily fixed by using the hand held shower head. The shower is not separated to the toilet so everything can get wet but we were okay with this so it depends on your preference.
Small room but clean and new equipment and great location
Very nice host, available to help. Nice location, walking distance from the ancient part of the city.
The room was extra small and had a smell all the time, even if we let the windows open. We were on the second floor, and there was no hot water at all.

Really cozy room and nice bed! 😊 I got upgraded for free. You could also do laundry here.
We had a lovely stay here. Location is excellent and the people are absolutely lovely. They also have free bicycles to use.
