A disappointing stay due to incorrect room arrangements and unfriendly service, despite the kindness of the housekeeping
Pros:

The housekeeping staff were very kind, friendly, and welcoming. They were the only staff members who made us feel comfortable during our stay. I really appreciated their positive attitude and professionalism.

Cons:

Unfortunately, we were given a room with two beds pushed together instead of the two separate beds we had specifically booked. The problem could only be resolved the following morning, and we were told that no rooms with separate beds were available. In addition, most of the staff and security guards were unfriendly and unprofessional. They rarely greeted us and often made us feel unwelcome. Overall, the service and hospitality were disappointing.

Disappointing stay and unwelcoming staff
Cons:

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was very disappointing. From the moment we arrived, we did not feel welcome. The staff constantly gave us strange and uncomfortable looks whenever we entered the hotel, which made the atmosphere feel very unpleasant. There was absolutely no sense of a warm welcome or genuine hospitality.

On our first day, we were also given a different room from the one we had originally booked. When we addressed this issue, we were told that the hotel was fully booked and that we would have to wait until the following morning to move to the room we had actually reserved. I found this very unprofessional, especially since we had specifically chosen and paid for a particular room.

What disappointed me the most was the attitude of the staff. They did not come across as particularly friendly or welcoming. Every time we walked into the hotel, we felt uncomfortable rather than welcomed, which is definitely not what you expect when staying at a hotel.

The only positive aspect of our stay was the housekeeping staff. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful.

Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.

Katastrofa, spánku ani nápravy se nedočkáte

Tento pobyt byl naprostá katastrofa a celou situaci jsme řešili s booking.com, který se k situaci na rozdíl od hotelu postavil čestně a kompenzoval nás.
Náš pobyt v hotelu Melas v Istanbulu, proběhl 9.-12.10.2026
Během našeho třídenního pobytu jsme zažili opakované a zcela nepřijatelné rušení nočního klidu, které zásadně narušilo kvalitu našeho pobytu a znemožnilo nám řádný odpočinek.
Při rezervaci jsem hotelu poslala zprávu, že potřebujeme klidný pokoj, přítel byl po operaci a že budeme na pokoji trávit hodně času.
První noc nás sousedé po celou noc rušili extrémním hlukem a hotel s tím nic neudělal i přes naši snahu. Přestože jsme se je snažili upozornit boucháním na zeď i sousedy, situace se nezlepšila. Následující den jsme proto problém osobně nahlásili znovu na recepci a požádali hotel o účinné řešení, ideálně formou přestěhování do pokoje v jiném patře, čemuž také vyhověli. Druhá noc následně proběhla v pořádku.
Třetí noc však byla naprostým vyvrcholením celé situace. Hosté v pokoji nad námi vytvářeli nesnesitelný hluk, opakovaně křičeli a hlučně přesouvali nábytek, a to v době, kdy jsme měli mít zajištěn noční klid. Na recepci jsme kvůli tomu volali celkem třikrát. Protože se situace ani poté nevyřešila, byli jsme nuceni osobně sejít na recepci přibližně ve dvě hodiny ráno a zoufale žádat o pomoc. Ani přes naše opakované upozornění a snahu hotel situaci vyřešit jsme se nedočkali uspokojivého výsledku.

Výsledkem je, že ze tří nocí našeho pobytu jsme se mohli skutečně vyspat pouze jednu noc. Taková zkušenost je naprosto neakceptovatelná, zvláště s ohledem na cenovou kategorii a úroveň, kterou hotel prezentuje a za kterou jsme zaplatili.

Rádi bychom rovněž zdůraznili, že výběr tohoto dražšího hotelu nebyl náhodný. Můj přítel se zotavoval po operaci a potřeboval především klid, kvalitní spánek a vhodné podmínky pro odpočinek.

Die Ausstattung des Zimmers war toll. Gutes Bett, gute Kosmetik-Artikel. Nespresso Kaffeemaschine.

Cons:

Die Lage an einer sehr befahrenen mehrspurigen Straße. Aufgrund mehrerer Schönheitskliniken in der Nähe fühlte man sich manchmal eher in einem Krankenhaus als in einem Hotel. Sehr viel Personal jedoch nicht sehr kundenorientiert.

das personal war super freundlich, das frühstück und generell die ausstattung waren sehr sehr gut

Cons:

wir hatten das dz mit queensize bett.. das bett war leider viel zu schmal für 2 personen, die extra kosten kann man sich wirklich sparen!
