I had a deeply disappointing experience at The Leela Gandhinagar, and it fell far below the standards expected from a luxury hotel.

At around 5:00 a.m., water started leaking from the AC in my room, creating a serious safety hazard. The floor became wet, and I nearly slipped. Instead of being able to rest, I was asked to relocate immediately. Two male staff members came to my room in the middle of the night while I had to hurriedly pack all my belongings to shift to another room. As a solo female guest, this made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe.

Unfortunately, the inconvenience did not end there. The replacement room also had a maintenance issue. I had to call the front desk again, after which an electrician was sent. At 5:00 a.m., furniture was being moved around inside my room while repairs were being carried out. By then, any chance of getting proper sleep was gone, and the entire ordeal ruined my night and affected my entire day.

The next morning, I spoke with the General Manager, Mr. Sood, and explained everything that had happened. I told him I would wait to see how the hotel handled the situation before forming my final opinion. However, there was no meaningful follow-up or effort to make up for such a distressing experience.

To make matters worse, the Duty Manager, Ms. Anshika Pundir, spoke to me in a rude, dismissive, and unprofessional manner when I raised my concerns. Instead of showing empathy or taking ownership of the situation, I felt my concerns were brushed aside.

A luxury hotel is judged not only by its facilities but also by how it handles unexpected situations. Sadly, this experience reflected poor maintenance, inadequate guest care, and a lack of professionalism. I sincerely hope the management reviews its safety protocols, staff training, and customer service standards so that no other guest has to go through a similar experience.

Location, smell, rooms, staff, food all good

Our stay at The Leela Gandhinagar on 27th June 2026 was truly exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to the heartfelt farewell, every moment reflected the unmatched luxury and hospitality that The Leela is known for.

We were delighted to be allotted a beautifully appointed room with what felt like one of the best views in Gandhinagar. Waking up to the breathtaking cityscape and lush surroundings made our stay even more memorable. The room was spacious, impeccably maintained, and equipped with every comfort needed for a relaxing getaway.

One of the highlights of our visit was spending time at the stunning infinity pool. It was an incredibly refreshing experience and one of the most enjoyable parts of our stay.

The breakfast spread deserves special appreciation. It was lavish, thoughtfully curated, and offered an impressive variety of Indian and international delicacies. From freshly prepared live counters and authentic local specialties to an assortment of fresh fruits, pastries, juices, and gourmet options, every dish was delicious and beautifully presented.

A heartfelt and special thank you to Housekeeping Manager, Mr. Amar, whose dedication, professionalism, and genuine care made a remarkable difference throughout our stay. Mr. Amar's thoughtful assistance and gracious hospitality made us feel genuinely welcomed and valued.

I really liked room cleanliness and hospitality during my stay.
I met with Mr.Amar Kumar, Housekeeping Manager, who was very helpful throughout my stay.
He assisted me a lot and also gave me a hotel tour, including showing me the storage areas. I appreciated his support and hospitality very much.

This was probably or favourite hotel on our trip to India. We received a warm and friendly welcome and first impressions of the lobby were grand, impressive and calming. Our room was well equipped and of a suitable standard of such a luxury hotel. We didn't have dinner but had some light snacks and drinks in the tea room which were very nice, and the surroundings and service were lovely. We really enjoyed the professional raas garba performance in the lobby and joined in too....as it's all part of Gujerati culture!

Breakfast was the highlight of the stay with soothing live music, live cooking of all your favourite Gujerati dishes and usual international breakfast cuisines. The food was an absolute treat and so delicious, the service from all the staff was outstanding and showcased the best of Indian hospitality!

Everything was great. Location, ambiance, hospitality. Food was very delicious starting from breakfast to dinner. Infact was so good that I didn’t consider any other place to dine.

It was really amazing for hi tea and shivan is so helpful for coosing a good coffe thank u so much ♥️ team the leela

We had a really lovely stay at The Leela Gandhinagar. From the moment we checked in until check-out, everything was smooth and comfortable, and the whole experience felt very well taken care of that was really worth remembering

A special mention to "Sreeparna and Sayani" thank you both for your kindness and hospitality. You genuinely made our stay more special. You were always helpful, attentive, and made sure everything was handled so nicely that we never had to worry about anything.
Breakfast was also one of the highlights of our stay great variety, delicious food, and a perfect way to start the day.
Thank you to the entire team at The Leela Gandhinagar for such a pleasant experience. We’ll definitely remember this stay and would love to visit again.

Very nice Hospitality and very friendly staff .They taking care of each and every guest and look after their need .We met Chef Randhir over there he is very nice person he personally attend our requirement and prepare special dishes for our baby girl she enjoys alot .Must visit ..😃
