Clean, modern, funky - bed was extremely comfortable !!
The location was perfect
Although the location was perfect the noise on the Saturday night was a bit disruptive !! Sunday night was obviously quieter and slept very well !
The basin in the bathroom was a bit too small for my liking - hard to clean teeth and wash face etc
Check in was easy and communication was great.
The bed was really comfortable and the shower pressure and temperature was perfect.
The room is well equipped with a fridge, microwave, plates, cups, bowls and cutlery as well as a hairdryer and iron.
The location is seconds from the seafront and close to the high street and theatres.
Earplugs are provided.
The room was nice and clean.
The walls are pretty thin- it felt like the couple I shared a wall with were in the same room as me! I could hear their conversation, nose blowing, and coughing as clear as day. Earplugs are provided so this doesn't affect sleep, but it's quite annoying to spend any time in the room with disembodied voices right next to your head.
It would be good to supply a small bottle of washing up liquid and a dishcloth to wash up with. I think the lack of these may have been the reason the cutlery was a little grubby when I checked in. The crockery and the rest of the room was all clean though.
Die Lage war toll. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat uns schnell und unkompliziert ein Ersatzzimmer gegeben. Die Zimmer sind mit Kühlschrank ausgestattet.
Unser erstes Zimmer hatte keine Fenster und keine funktionierende Lüftung. Der Wasserhahn hat getropft und nachts laut gepfiffen. Die Zimmer waren sehr schmutzig. Unter den Betten lag Müll. In einem der Ersatzzimmer konnte man das Fenster nicht öffnen.
You got what you pay for.
The outside of it, looked pretty scummy at the door area. Needs to be painted, was hard to find, needs some plants or something to brighten it up and make it look a happier place for arrival.
The team did everything to help after a difficult stay. Appreciate the honesty and proactivity.
Location is excellent and getting into the place was hassle free
It was a good location, somewhere to sleep so I can’t complain about that.
It was very noisy from early hours, and there was a huge group of people who woke us up early, didn’t get much sleep you could hear everything through the walls unfortunately.

The room is very well equipped. It has an ensuit, microwave, coffee machine, and the water pressure and heating are excellent.
The cleaness can be a little bit better.
Brilliant stay at Blok 74, really simple check in and 10/10 for location! Room was really lovely.

- The location was superb - everything we wanted to do in Brighton felt within walking distance
- Really liked the room decoration and the facilities - TV, coffee machine etc. - were very good
- Check in was very simple
- Hosts were very communicative and responded quickly to any queries
- Having the online guide and guest offers at nearby bars, restaurants and cafes was a great touch
- Bed was very large and comfortable
- Was a little noisier than expected, but I guess that's par for the course with somewhere so central and not the hosts' fault. Also given the location and what we had on our doorstep, we didn't spend much time in the room anyway!
- Though there was a bit of a smell coming from the drains/sink when we arrived, this was rectified very quickly when we flagged it with the hosts
