Good location, would not stay again.
Pros:

Cons:

The cleaning of the room was not up to standard it was extremely dusty and left our clothes dirty when we tried to use the ironing board. It also had a broken window. Paint was noticeably chipped off the wall around the light switch.

Ideal location for beachfront and places to eat & drink
Pros:

Loved the location, it was the perfect spot for the beach front and surrounded by some really good pubs and restaurants.

Customer service was exceptional.

The size of the room was decent, the shower was amazing, both found the beds to be very comfortable and had a good night sleep during our stay. The refreshments provided were a nice touch as well as some basic kitchen essentials.

The location of the room was at the back so we didn't hear anything during the night and the blackout blinds were nice touch.

Cons:

The main lights didn't work, it did get resolved but took time.

Tea and coffees not replenished during stay.

Rack on the wall fell off during the night, thankfully no one was hurt and it only had an ironing board on.

Single glazed windows and the frosting in the bathroom window had a clear board so people could see in from the other side.

Great location, great facilities to be used (fridge, microwave, coffee machine).
You really couldn't get closer to the beach either. Bed was very comfy, I slept well.

Cons:

This is trivial, but there was nothing to use to stir hot drinks, no plate or cutlery to eat food once I used the microwave. However, I would stay again and take my own next time. A few marks on bedding and hairs also but as I say, I would stay and book with Blok 74 again.

De locatie was top!

Cons:

Het was echt super warm op de kamer, en zelfs als we het raam de hele dag open hadden en ‘s nachts ook, bleef het ook super warm.


Ook was de kamer veeel kleiner dan dat op de foto’s leek

Pros:

it was aesthetic. the room photos was correct and very pretty although many flaws.

Cons:

very small in my opinion, outside looked a state and the bathroom didn’t smell right and there was a dead spider on the window sill, window was dirty and the view outside wasn’t great. my boyfriend definitely didn’t like the atmosphere or my friends

The shower really needs a bleach or mold spray to get rid of the dirt though. Can’t help to clean them once. Month.

Pros:

Blok-74 is now our go to for whenever we stay in Brighton. The location is perfectly placed between the beach and the city centre. Access is simple and easy, details are always sent well in advance. The room and hotel are clean with lots of helpful amenities. Lovely little hotel and always a great price for a weekend getaway!

Modest, as I expected but had a serious problem with the receipt
Pros:

It is a very good location: a few meters from the see, pier is close, etc.

Cons:

1) A room is very small, but by carefully watching the pictures, it can be seen in them. Still, for two people, for more than one or two nights, it is not really good.
2) I asked for a receipt in my company's name in advance of my arrival, and in advance, the receipt was issued. Still, I got one in my name. When I asked for a change, I was refused, referring to legal regulations (i.e., that is not possible), although it happened elsewhere (true: I was in the EU). This may cost me hundreds of GBP.
