There were bedbugs in the room. It was so bad I had to sleep in the shower and leave at 4 in the morning because I just couldn't stand it anymore. Really disappointing as I had stayed before in a different room and everything had been fine. There were also random bedsheets all over the stairs on the way up to the rooms.
- The location was superb - everything we wanted to do in Brighton felt within walking distance
- Really liked the room decoration and the facilities - TV, coffee machine etc. - were very good
- Check in was very simple
- Hosts were very communicative and responded quickly to any queries
- Having the online guide and guest offers at nearby bars, restaurants and cafes was a great touch
- Bed was very large and comfortable
- Was a little noisier than expected, but I guess that's par for the course with somewhere so central and not the hosts' fault. Also given the location and what we had on our doorstep, we didn't spend much time in the room anyway!
- Though there was a bit of a smell coming from the drains/sink when we arrived, this was rectified very quickly when we flagged it with the hosts

The location was great
There wasn't any hot water on Sunday and Monday morning. I had to have a cold shower, the bed was solid hard. My kitchen counter would have been more comfortable to sleep on. No space for any luggage, clothes, no bedside cabinets, wardrobe, no clothes hangers, kettle was falling apart and unusable and the apartment was unhigenically dirty

Very central location and exceptionally clean rooms with everything we needed. Love the quirky decor and the communication from Blok 74.
As it's a central location, can be noisy in the evening - but we were mostly out ourselves, adding to the noise. Quite at night with comfortable beds, so slept well.
Great location, very close to seafront & shops. Really liked the decor, the room was very cosy and even had a microwave & mini fridge which was a great bonus!

A hook on the back of the bathroom door please. We had the ground floor room which was a bit noisy at night with people walking past and vehicles.

The rooms are a little small but for what you pay I think it's very good.
Great central location and easy to get to from station you can walk if like walking as downhill as hills are very steep in Brighton.
Plus I've been to Brighton a few times so know where to cut through Rds to get to Middle Street.
Very handy to go to entertainments venue Brighton Centre just down the road literally 10 mins.
Plus the seafront on your door stop so I went for a walk in the morning for exercise.
The hotel its self inside could do with some sound proofing as you can hear a lot going on in other rooms, I can imagine it in summertime it will be even more activity and noiser, so not for a quiet time if thats what you want.
