Comfortable, well equipped & designed.
Pros:

The area where we ate breakfast was clean & bright breakfast itself was well laid out, a good choice & hot food nicely cooked.
The room was very spacious, comfortable bed, good hanging space. The bathroom was very well laid out, shower was great pressure.

Very basic, poor quality and uncomfortable.
Pros:

Breakfast was the worst bit. Very substandard. Bacon over cooked and dried out. Cereals were low quality, egg was dried out yet gloppy in the middle. The soft seating was stained (food stained).

Overall the staff were friendly.

Cons:

Just about everything. The focus of the hotel is to provide the basics and no more. Parking overnight was £21, the room was £140, the breakfast was £27 for 2 people. One of us had a bowl of granola which tasted salty and I had half a sausage. We were disgusted.

Good value and a nice atmosphere
Pros:

It’s great overall . A lovely half hour walk along the river into Cambridge or an easy bus or train. Breakfast is excellent. Even in busy times the managers Bea and Genni provide amazing customer service.

Ideal if wanting to be near city centre or access to trains, shop right outside the hotel which was great for food &
Pros:

Was well kept cleanliness wise, easy to find, right next to the train stop to get into city centre.

Cons:

Not a bad thing for business but we just found it extremely busy. Was nowhere to park at first and had to wait for the swimming pool & sauna which isn’t bad but we just prefer quiet stays.

Comfortable, high quality hotel
Pros:

Good value hotel, very comfortable and quiet for a 1 night stay and the breakfast was excellent.

Nice room

Cons:

Bar staff were very poor in the evening. No eye contact. No acknowledgement that we were waiting to be served.
Restaurant service very slow then nobody came to check on us during our meal and was not offered desert menu.
Ended up going across the road to the coop for desert.
