Good location
Comfy bed

Cons:

Despite booking a late checkout due to work, staff came into the room 4 times with no apology or any idea the late checkout was booked.
The shower didn't drain properly, which caused the water to flood the floor.
When booking out, the receptionist was overwhelmed, so showed no interest in my issues.

Good value for money.
Pros:

Location, room and the whole ambience. The room was really spacious to move around with luggage. Bathroom and shower were perfect. The room cleaning service was superb. The location was perfect; there is a bus station and a train station. It was easy for me to arrive from London directly to it and then to continue my way into edinburgh. All easily. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall, we had great time
Pros:

Greatfacilities, staff are very polite, I informed one of the staff at the reception that we were there for my husband's birthday and she made sure we got a room service surprise birthday gift, very lovely lady (forgot to take her name). Overall, we had great time

Cons:

No prking, we parked at the train station's car park , no discount at all for Hotel visitors

Comfortable and convenient
Pros:

Breakfast was delicious with a great selection. Proximity to train station was perfect for coming from London. Room was very comfortable with good air conditioning for the summer months.

Cons:

Far from the city but bus connections were very convenient.

Really great place from which to explore Cambridge, Ely and the surrounding area.
Pros:

Location next to Cambridge North makes getting into Cambridge very easy (train, bus, uber). The public areas of the hotel are comfortable: light and airy, and the breakfast is good, in an atmosphere that manages not to have the awkwardness of many such places. The staff are notably cheerful and helpful. The swimming pool is a great bonus. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable.

Pros:

We were amazed by the courtesy of the staff as soon as we arrived. Later in the evening whilst at the Bar/Resturant area my husband, who is a Type 1 Diabetec, had a hypo. Asked the Restaurant for garlic bread(Carbohydrates) and it triggered a guy from the main bar area bringing across orange juice to raise his sugar levels. His blood sugars were returned to normal thank goodness. Throughout this times several members of Bar Staff and Management checked in with us both! So impressed Novotel and thank you.x
