Everything especially the customer service from the two ladies at the reception when we came in. I don’t remember there names but please give them the props they deserve for excellent customer service.

The location was excellent plus a car park was an added bonus. The room was perfect and very comfortable had an excellent sleep and the staff were extremely friendly too definitely recommend

•The toilets on the ground floor enter entrance, Why is there a need to keep the disabled - baby changing toilet locked ? The last thing i want to do is have to ask for it to be unlock it, this is something so basic which is a big inconvenience and unacceptable
•I had made a request for a baby cot and extra table for medical equipment for my disabled toddler to be placed in the room, it had been accepted even the staff accepted my request and responded that its was fine (before we arrived ) when we got there no cot or extra table was in the room so we had to ask and wait.
•They could of added one more towel for the child like the child is also a guest in the booking something i didn’t think I have to mention does the child not need to be washed like we wash ourself too. Are children ignored so much that they are not considered a guest not baby changing, cot, or towel ? Is under 5 not welcomed here? Why are the staff so attentive and so ignorant to basic details?????
Beautiful hotel with friendly staff.
Breakfast could have been better, the scrambled eggs didn’t taste like they were made from fresh eggs.
Felt safe as a solo female both in room and pool facility.
Charlotte (reception) both thoughtful and thorough in her customer care.
Lewis (bar) welcoming and helpful when I ordered oat milk coffee after swimming.
Breakfast choices were varied and nicely presented.
Juice machine needs to be monitored as didn’t seem to be functioning at breakfast.
The location is convenient for me and is next to the station. The hotel is comfortable and the buffet breakfast is good.
The room could do with more lighting.
We recently had another lovely stay at Novotel Cambridge North and once again it did not disappoint. A special thank you to Genni, who remembered us from our previous visit — such a thoughtful touch that really made us feel welcome. She was fantastic with the kids, always making them smile and feel comfortable, which means so much as a family.
Overall, another great stay at the hotel. The only slight downside this time was the breakfast — it felt a bit different from what we’re used to, with fewer options available. Our children usually really look forward to breakfast as part of the experience, so we would love to see a wider variety available again in the future.
We also hope the jacuzzi will be working on our next visit, as it’s something we were really looking forward to.

Breakfast was not great this time and the variety was lacking. It’s normally very good, so this was a bit disappointing. We would love to see more options available again in the future.
Food was very good
Waiting and bar staff really require some training. The bartender was extremely unfriendly and quite rude, rolling his eyes when asked for a glass. On the first night the waiting staff advised me of a delay with food even though the restaurant was not too busy. I accepted the delay but was advised there was a kebab van outside if I didnt want to wait. They eventually took my order and then I did not see a waiter for an hour...they essentially forgot to put the order through. I must give credit to Andy the team manager who handled the situation very well indeed. I think the hotel is fairly new and has a huge amount of potential. Rooms were really nice and the food was very good. Thanks to Andy again for how he handled the car crash of a meal.
I had a fantastic experience! The staff were exceptionally friendly, always willing to help and creating a warm, welcoming environment from the moment I arrived. The facilities were top‑notch—clean, modern, and clearly well maintained.
Another big highlight was the central location, with a super convenient 5‑minute train link that made getting around quick and easy. Whether you’re visiting for business or leisure, this place makes travel effortless.
Nothing major—just clearer on/off instructions for the sauna timer switch. The red light means the sauna is off; press the red button to start the timer, and the green/yellow light indicates it’s on
