４人部屋でしたが、カードキーが２枚あったのでよかった。

The Hotel room was clean, good and comfortable but the carpet on the coridors were very dirty and stainy. The problem for me was the Japanese receptionists were not speaking English and not helpful at all. There was also not even one English channel on TV. So I just had to watch something on my mobile phone which is not comfortable and healthy for your eyes. The Area of the Hotel was good and near everything you needed.

もう少し清潔であるとよい
Pros:

共有フロアのカーペットや冷蔵庫の取手が汚れたままなのが気になりました。
アメニティも化粧品がないのと朝食が近隣のカフェでしか取れないのが不便でした。

Petit bémol : prévoir support en hauteur (banc, console,...) pour ouvrir sa valise sans être au ras du sol...

I was there for just a little less than a week but out of the 3 hotels i stayed in while in japan this was my personal favorite that fit my needs the most. The room was spacious, (travelled alone) and my favorite parts was propably The fact that i had a bathtub and microwave in the hotel room so i could relax properly and heat up food without having to leave my room in the early morning. The personell was also excellent, some of them were even proficient in english. The location was also great for my activities while in kyoto, as i could visit i.e. arashiyama and nishiki easily through train and bus. Would definetly revisit if i went back to kyoto
