Lovely room, appalling breakfast.
Pros:

Room was very clean with great air conditioning.

Cons:

Breakfast was the worst I have experienced in a hotel anywhere in Europe in the last thirty years.

Except for the breakfast, this was like staying in a Microtel with few amenities with a high price
Pros:

The breakfast and the coffee was good, except the eggs. They seemed to be made with water. There was a sign that said hash browns but they weren’t there.

Cons:

There were just a few coat hangers so not enough to gang clothes, no place to hang towels, except 2 knobs big enough for hand towels, no way to reach the front desk except to call on our phones which wouldn’t work for European calls, no hair dryer in my room so I had to walk down to the front desk and ask for it, the check in in the bar was not convenient. They called a cab to the airport for us and said it would take less than 5 minutes, but I had to go back in 3 times and it took 20 minutes. This was probably the cab company’s fault but the front desk woman offered no apology.

Pros:

Great breakfast with plenty of options and good location close to the train and bus station. Hotel had a really welcoming atmosphere and the rooms were clean and modern. Staff was really friendly and helpful.

Cons:

There were no free amenities like toothbrushes or toothpaste

Overall a lovely stay at the Moxy for our few days stay in Edinburgh. Few criticisms above could be easily addressed.
Pros:

Ideal location. Rooms comfortable. Lovely hot water in shower. Friendly helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere.

Cons:

Breakfast was a little disappointing/stock not being replenished/monitored. Cooked breakfast limited and not that warm

We would stay here again!
Pros:

The room set-up was really efficient, and nicely done. The staff was lovely, and the rooftop bar was a great place to have a cocktail.

Cons:

We felt the breakfast was pricey for what was available, and we paid in advance. There was also construction going on.

Nettes Hotel mit angenehmen Zimmern - aber eben auch sehr teuer, das scheint in Edinburgh wohl so zu sein.

Cons:

Die Parksituation am Hotel ist nicht gut. Auch zum Ausladen steht man eigentlich im Halteverbot. Wegen der Dachbox konnte ich nicht in das vom Hotel mit Sondertarif (10 statt 24 GBP/24 Std) Parkhaus fahren und hatte deshalb im zwar näher gelegenen Q-Park 2 x 24 GBP zu bezahlen. Aber so ist es eben....
