Good central location
Pros:

Great location if planning to ski as quite close to the bus stop taking you to the funicular for Sunegga and train for Gornergrat. Facilities included ski room for equipment storage etc - central location in Zermatt. If you're looking for a no frills place to base yourself to ski from, I'd recommend this hotel.

Cons:

Everything was as expected, straightforward comfortable place to be based for skiing. The room could have done with a couple more pillows but otherwise we were covered.

Pros:

The hotel was in a good location, very close to the centre of town. Nice balcony and a good heating system within the room.

Cons:

We had to check-in via the hotel next door which was a little confusing. We were on the "1st floor" which was actually up about 4 flights of stairs. They said there was an elevator but a bunch of floors were missing the button to even call the elevator and it probably would've only fit one person inside. Our bedroom was clean but the bathroom definitely had some black mould in it which made the whole room smell quite bad.

Simple and perfect.
Pros:

Simple, practical room. Bathroom has been redone. Ask for a hairdresser at the main reception (other hotel). Elevator available. Perfect for short stays, when you do not need luxury.

Cons:

It would be nice if the cleaning staff would not talk so loudly I the hallway in the morning. Not everyone gets up before 8 to go skiing.

Amazing stay in Zermatt!
Pros:

Room was amazing, I had Alps view right in front of my room. The walking distance from the train station was a 7 min brisk walk. I was carrying a big luggage and I felt it super comfortable

The rooms are old but very clean and tidy. The shared bathroom was spotless and freshly cleaned all the time. Good value

Great value for money and execptional service.
Pros:

Hotel is in a great central location and staff always provided exceptional service. The room was larger than I was expecting and the shared bathroom facilities were decent. Compared to similar options in the town, this was great value for money.

Cons:

The shared bathroom/s could have been maintained slightly more or redone to prevent/fix mould and stains that have accumulated over time but they are still very decent.

スイスの山を登山後に、贅沢に過ごせる部屋だった。
Pros:

山小屋風で雰囲気があり、かつ暖かい部屋だった。
お水のサービスがあり、その水が美味しかった。
部屋が適度に広く、快適だった。
スタッフの対応が良かった。

Cons:

シャワールームが、自分が出た途端水浸しになる設備だった。

Empfehlenswert mit leichten Abstrichen
Pros:

Ruhige, aber doch sehr zentrale Lage im Dorf von Zermatt. Talstation der Sunnegga Bahn sogar fussläufig innerhalb weniger Minuten zu erreichen.
Wir hatten einen kleinen Balkon in der obersten Etage, von wo aus man sogar die Spitze des Matterhorns sehen konnte.
Einfache Einrichtung, aber alles da was man benötigt.
Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit (Check-in findet im benachbarten Hotel statt).

Cons:

Leider war unser Zimmer bei Ankunft nicht ordentlich geputzt (wir haben im Bad noch Haare am Boden gefunden) und die Böden waren staubig.
