Pros:

close to the center

Cons:

We hear the conversation of the neighbors. sound isolation of the wall is not good. We had a bad luck that our neighbors spent whole night talking quite loudly and we could hear . We couldn’t sleep well .

Pros:

I like the balcony view instead of everything.

Cons:

Soundproof need to be improve. You can literally hearing the housekeeper make alot of noise, or you can hear sound smashing sound came out of nowhere. The smashing sound no only one time, is multiple time. From around 7 till 11 in the morning.

Der Aufenthalt war angenehm.
Pros:

Die Lage und der Preis ist super. Würde die Unterkunft für ein paar Tage wieder buchen.

Cons:

Im Bad hat der Abfluss extrem gestunken. Geputzt war auch nicht ganz sauber😏

Reasonably priced hotel in center of Zermatt
Pros:

Great location, great price. The hotel is a bit used, the pictures are accurate. Still comfortable enough for a week stay. I had the shared bathroom single room. The bed was great, view was fantastic, room and common areas were always clean. Shared bathroom is okay as well (actually toilet and a bathroom) . All in all - if you don't expect much or are not into the luxury non-sense, its actually pretty comfortable and reasonable. The staff was great always helpful.

Cons:

The electricity shall be invested to - no kettle and no hairdryer available in the room (available on reception) and also shall not be used in the rooms.
There is also probably some issue with sewer - the smell especially in lower floors is getting back into the building - unpleasant but not disturbing unless you are very sensitive (subjective obviously).
Considering of the location (Zermatt) I honestly hope that any reconstruction would not make it yet another unaffordable accommodation for a normal person and this will stay a nice, easy and warm place for regular ppl. There are so few of them already. However, it certainly requires a bit more attention on at least those 2 topics.

Pros:

Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und gut einfaches Zimmer aber Gute Lage

Cons:

Etagen Bad sehr Alt wäre kein Problem aber leider alles etwas schimmlig
deshalb Preis etwas zu hoch

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Der Preis ist für Zermatt sehr günstig.

Cons:

Im Eingang und Keller, wo der Skiraum ist, herrschte ein sehr unangenehmer Geruch nach Kanalisation.
An der Reception waren keine qualifizierten Personen tätig, sie konnten keine Fragen direkt beantworten. Sie waren auch nicht wirklich kooperativ: Unser Sohn hatte sich am Vortag verletzt und wir haben angefragt ob er den Tag über bis 16 Uhr im Zimmer bleiben könnte. Obwohl das Zimmer am nächsten Tag nicht belegt war, wollte die Reception den vollen Preis für eine zusätzliche Nacht verrechnen. Immerhin haben sie es erlaubt, dass er sich in der Lounge aufhält

Good location.
Pros:

The location was central to all the shops and close enough to the slopes, with a 5 min walk to lift or ski bus. The property was clean and comfortable. The reception staff at the other hotel (who managed this one) were lovely and accommodating.

Cons:

I had a very dirty towel that had not been checked or changed before we arrived. There was little in way of apology considering what highly unpleasant substances appeared to be on the towel. However - it was a mistake and I can’t imagine that happens all the time as everything else was fine. The room was very dated.
