würde wieder kommen
Pros:

Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und gut einfaches Zimmer aber Gute Lage

Cons:

Etagen Bad sehr Alt wäre kein Problem aber leider alles etwas schimmlig
deshalb Preis etwas zu hoch

Das Hotel ist sehr zentral gelegen. Der Preis ist für Zermatt sehr günstig.

Cons:

Im Eingang und Keller, wo der Skiraum ist, herrschte ein sehr unangenehmer Geruch nach Kanalisation.
An der Reception waren keine qualifizierten Personen tätig, sie konnten keine Fragen direkt beantworten. Sie waren auch nicht wirklich kooperativ: Unser Sohn hatte sich am Vortag verletzt und wir haben angefragt ob er den Tag über bis 16 Uhr im Zimmer bleiben könnte. Obwohl das Zimmer am nächsten Tag nicht belegt war, wollte die Reception den vollen Preis für eine zusätzliche Nacht verrechnen. Immerhin haben sie es erlaubt, dass er sich in der Lounge aufhält

Good location.
Pros:

The location was central to all the shops and close enough to the slopes, with a 5 min walk to lift or ski bus. The property was clean and comfortable. The reception staff at the other hotel (who managed this one) were lovely and accommodating.

Cons:

I had a very dirty towel that had not been checked or changed before we arrived. There was little in way of apology considering what highly unpleasant substances appeared to be on the towel. However - it was a mistake and I can’t imagine that happens all the time as everything else was fine. The room was very dated.

Sehr gute Lage, Frühstück bestens im angeschlossenen Hotel Tannenhof mit Blick auf das Matterhorn. Top-Abendessen, allerdings teuer, im Hotelrestaurant.

A good basic hotel centrally located.
Pros:

Breakfast adequate- hotel location very good in the middle of town just off main street and near to bus for ski lift or could walk to other lift. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Train station 10 min walk. Basically a decent budget friendly hotel. Nice view from my balcony which was a bonus. Price wasnt too bad for a very expensive town. Be warned on that one. Bring your credit card.

Cons:

Kettle in the room would have been nice. Perhaps a little more on offer at breakfast. Continental same every day. Bath was ok for a change but had a shower attatchment only over the bath. Prity basic and old school that. I managed..Bathroom a bit small. A woood cladded room with ceiling tiles. Very old school..

Good central location
Pros:

Great location if planning to ski as quite close to the bus stop taking you to the funicular for Sunegga and train for Gornergrat. Facilities included ski room for equipment storage etc - central location in Zermatt. If you're looking for a no frills place to base yourself to ski from, I'd recommend this hotel.

Cons:

Everything was as expected, straightforward comfortable place to be based for skiing. The room could have done with a couple more pillows but otherwise we were covered.

Pros:

The hotel was in a good location, very close to the centre of town. Nice balcony and a good heating system within the room.

Cons:

We had to check-in via the hotel next door which was a little confusing. We were on the "1st floor" which was actually up about 4 flights of stairs. They said there was an elevator but a bunch of floors were missing the button to even call the elevator and it probably would've only fit one person inside. Our bedroom was clean but the bathroom definitely had some black mould in it which made the whole room smell quite bad.

Simple and perfect.
Pros:

Simple, practical room. Bathroom has been redone. Ask for a hairdresser at the main reception (other hotel). Elevator available. Perfect for short stays, when you do not need luxury.

Cons:

It would be nice if the cleaning staff would not talk so loudly I the hallway in the morning. Not everyone gets up before 8 to go skiing.

Amazing stay in Zermatt!
Pros:

Room was amazing, I had Alps view right in front of my room. The walking distance from the train station was a 7 min brisk walk. I was carrying a big luggage and I felt it super comfortable

The rooms are old but very clean and tidy. The shared bathroom was spotless and freshly cleaned all the time. Good value
