Nooit meer Omena.
Pros:

Locatie in centrum van Turku uitstekend. Genoeg eetgelegenheden en winkels in de omgeving. Ook makkelijk ontbijt halen bij de supermarkt.

Cons:

NOOIT meer een onbemand hotel, en zeker niet bij Omena! Indien alles foutloos gaat geen probleem, maar bij ons verblijf verre van foutloos. Toen we aankwamen hadden we nog steeds geen codes om naar binnen te kunnen. Hebben bijna een uur buiten gestaan voordat we de deurcodes hadden terwijl het steeds kouder werd. Kregen toen codes die maar 24 uur geldig waren en zouden de volgende dag nieuwe codes krijgen via berichtsysteem van Booking.com of SMS. Bericht kwam volgende dag dat we zelf even moesten bellen, maar kreeg toen te horen dat we later op de dag via SMS de nieuwe codes zouden krijgen. Tijdens onze dagtrip stuur ik ze nog een bericht via Booking.com dat ze niet moeten vergeten nieuwe codes te sturen. Wat denk je? Komen we om 23.00 aan nog steeds geen nieuwe codes en zijn we weer buitengesloten terwijl temperatuur rond vriespunt is gedaald. Na weer een lang telefoongesprek (op mijn kosten!) eindelijk nieuwe codes die weer maar 24 uur geldig zijn. Volgende dag krijg ik dan wel bijtijds nieuwe codes maar voor andere kamers. Weer een hoop geregel om codes te krijgen voor de juiste kamers. Voor drie overnachtingen ben ik drie dagen bezig geweest met geregel voor het hotel in plaats van onstpannen en genieten van ons verblijf in Turku. Zo zonde!

There was no hot water or heat. I called and they changed my room so I could sleep in a warm room, but I still didn't have hot water.

The best location for the cheapest price
Pros:

Price and location were probably the best possible in Turku. Also the room was really spacious.

Cons:

It was difficult to get the room dark as the curtains were a bit far from the windows.

Hind oli hea, asukoht suurepärane, voodi korralik. Tuba on suur, aga tühi - võiks olla kasvõi riidestange. Mõned toidunõud võiksid ka olla.

Cons:

Akent ei saanud avada, ent õnneks oli ventilatsioon hea, kuigi tegi liialt tugevat müra. Tualettruumis võiks olla rohkem riputuskonkse.
