A modern, new hotel just outside Nikko
Pros:

The Hotel is new and modern, therefore everything is in a very good and clean condition. Staff is very motivated and polite. English language knowledge sufficient for the communication with the staff. Room size is good and not the usual small sized japaneese stlyed rooms. Quiet location outside of the village.

Cons:

Hotel is located outside of Nikko and not easy to reach by foot from the train station (long way uphill and outside the housing area). We came by rented car but if you come by train or bus choose a taxi to get to the hotel. There is no breakfast served but the vending machines with basic food and drinks are well stocked. There are also mircowaves and coffe machines available (coffee,tea is free of charge).

Would definitely return one day
Pros:

Very nice staff, the shuttle service is amazing because the hotel is not quite a walkable distance from the station, Nikko is amazing and the hotel is too

Cons:

Maybe add a laundry machine? And the dryer didn’t quite dry my clothes even after two cycles

Heerlijk comfortabel verblijf!
Pros:

Heerlijk grote kamer met fijne grote bedden. Douche is prettig en van alle gemakken voorzien. Aanrader om heerlijk uit te rusten!

Cons:

Locatie ligt iets uit het centrum maar met huurauto prima, gratis parkeren bij hotel. Er rijdt een shuttle bus op reservering van en naar het centrum van Nikko. Anders 30min berg op/af lopen.

Pros:

Très bel hôtel, élégant et moderne. Chambres confortables. Restaurant (style buffet) à proximité. Petit déjeuner copieux. Environnement boisé magnifique.

Cons:

... Mais petit déjeuner au format Bento (pas de choix).
Hôtel un peu excentré. Il faut compter 30 à 40 minutes à pied pour le rejoindre. Navettes depuis la gare à certaines heures (mais à réserver à l'avance)

Pros:

It’s okay. Nothing great but not bad either. It’s like staying in any business hotel.

Cons:

The shuttle to the city is very limited. It’s likely you don’t find a seat which is not terrible because taxis are not expensive. What was really a joke was their included breakfast. A box lunch with cold fish was not edible. They shouldn’t offer breakfast at all.

Great hotel, very comfortable. Off season very good values
Pros:

Very comfortable, the staff is friendly, nice facilities on site (coffee machine and microwave). Shuttles to the city.

Cons:

A bit far from any kombi stores. Car is mostly required, shuttles are only in the morning and evening. Nikko bus does not arrive.

Gutes schönes Hotel an ruhiger Lage.

Die Zimmer, das Personal, die Sauberkeit.

Cons:

Das einzige was wir bemängeln können ist, dass es keine Essgelegenheiten im Hotel hat. Es hat schlichtweg kein Restaurant, was es hat, sind Automaten. Automaten mit Snacks, Fertig- und Tiefkühlprodukte usw. die konnte man jeweils an guten Einrichtungen im Hotel einnehmen.
