Our room was filled with cigarette smoke coming from the vents and connecting doors. We had booked a non-smoking room and also read on the website that the building is smoke free. But, when we tried to change rooms, we were told the property was full. Our baby developed a cough and we all had sore throats and burning eyes. Staff told us different things about the hotel policy: one said we had been placed on a smoking floor and another said the hotel is smoke free. Our problem was only fixed the last night of our stay when Miss Hadjer corrected the issue and moved us to a very nice room with no smoke. Had she been working the day we first encountered the problem, perhaps we would not have had such a horrible experience. On a positive note, all security staff were very professional and pleasant. But, overall, if something as simple as a non-smoking room request cannot be accomplished, that ruins the whole stay and even impacts the health of the whole family. We will never stay there again.
