Attentive staff who were willing to go the extra mile to see to our requests being met. E.g. breakfast staff was careful with my special order, usher on Level 23 was jern to accommodate me and brought me to The Library and made sure I was comfortable with the choice of corner to do my work. She even suggested that I could help myself to the welcome drink and snack located on the other side (Check-in counters) if I wanted to.
During my first day, I did not know where to go after exiting the lift on Level 23. There was not any sign to point me to the Check-In counters. Instead, a staff needed to guide me there. What if the staff was helping other guests when I exited the lift? A simple signage should help.
Hotel is amazing and always loved it… they have however made some sad downgrades
Breakfast had a massive downgrade compared to all my previous stays. Really a shame as used to be exceptional. Pool closes at 8pm… which is too early… worst part is they now lock off the whole area. So you can’t even sit outside and enjoy the evening.

Somehow we got a room with a thin wall and we heard a loud music in the middle of the night from their bar/club at the top floor. Maybe because our room was located directly underneath it.

We had dinner at the “Atelier 23”, in Park Hyatt Jakarta. We wanted to enjoy some “French Brasserie fare” during our stay. We choose “French Onion Soup” and “Light Mushroom Soup”, then “Coq au vin” and “West Java Farm Confit Duck”, then “Sulawesi Crème Vanilla Brulée” and “Slow Baked Chocolate Tart”. First things first, let’s say that the food was superb ! Well prepared, good sized portions.
But the service was appalling. Let’s consider that this is supposed to be a 5 stars hotel.
We have had better service in Jakarta in street warungs !
Nobody seemed to care to bring us the menu, despite me waving at the staff, (4 or 5 of them), who were too busy talking between themselves, their back to the room. But even when they faced me, it did not seem to concern them.
At last, we got the menu, then the same happened again.. and I had to go towards the counter to ask one of them to come to our table to take our order.
When the soups came, I suppose we were supposed to eat them with our bare hands.. as nobody thought of bringing spoons with the soups.. Waited 2 or 3 minutes, to check whether someone had realized that they forgot the spoons. If I wouldn’t have stepped forward, again, to the counter, I think we still would be waiting for the spoons.
Then the main dish came and the waitress indicated “Boeuf Bourguignon” when placing my “Coq au Vin” on the table. She may not have followed her science classes very carefully !
In summary : 5 Stars for the food and minus 5 stars for the service.
All the service crew in this venue should be fired with immediate effect for gross negligence and misbehavior.

The top Park Hyatt hotel I have ever stayed in. Brand new and modern and super architecture. Gorgeous and spacious rooms with WOW floor to ceiling windows . They really know how to take care of Globalist members . Top notch breakfast and service from everyone in the hotel. Extra touches offering Globalists afternoon coicktalis and snacks whihc I havent seen in any other Park Hyatrt. Gorgeous pool on top floor .I wil defintiely return if in Jakarta
