Best Western Premier Sapphire Halong

What a fantastic stay here. Super value and top quality place. Would recommend anyone to stay here rather than on the side where the port is. Short taxi ride , a lot quieter and more excellent coffee shops and restaurants close.

Beautiful hotel. Great experience, pleasent and welcoming staff. Well maintained rooms and linens and beddings, clean and fresh bathrooms. Great restaurant and the breakfast buffet was wonderful with abundance of choices. Would recommend any day.

I had a fantasic stay excellent staff, they were helpfull and friendly escpcially Dung and Trang. They always ready to assit with a smile. The room had a breathtaking view which i got upgraded making my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend.

We decided to overnight here as we start a Halong bay cruise tomorrow.
It's not that far over the connecting bridge to the docks. About 30 mins.
Our room super clean and spacious .
Two very good pools suitable for laps.
Outside we found lots of trendy coffee shops and a couple of foodie places. It's like being in little France around here.
All up a great hotel to stay in.

The staff at reception were incredibly nice and helpful! I wanted to rebook a flight the next day, which didn't work on my cell phone. The nice lady at reception and then also the hotel manager himself helped me with this, and after it didn't work on their computer and cell phone either, they even called Vietnam Airlines personally and solved everything brilliantly. Thank you very much, that was great and very nice!

It’s a nice hotel with so much potential but it was more or less empty when we visited and it just felt really weird.

We actually quite liked the area on the side of the bridge away from downtown Ha Long, but just as the hotel, the area is empty and has almost a ghost town feel over it. Mainly due to all the new development that is not populated and were build for a demand that never came but probably also because it was a bit out of season.

The hotel is quite nice but you can also see that it’s not that well maintained and also the breakfast buffet was not available due to off season so you chose from the menu instead.

If you stay in Ha Long I would probably stay here again but I would personally skip staying there and take q day trip from Hanoi instead.

Beautiful hotel, with outstanding service. The indoor pool was nice and the steam room was great. Breakfast buffet was extra, but definitely worth it. The room had a nice view over the bay, very spacious and clean. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other travelers, we met in Hue. The staff at the reception was extremely helpful, especially Táu.

The hotel was clean and staffs were friendly. When we were there, it was very quiet and nice. We stayed in the bay view room. The sunset was beautiful and the night view was fun. However, we expected the spa in the hotel as we saw the hotel has a spa on hotels.com hotel page and realised on their site it says “coming soon”. It was a bit disappointing. Apart from that, we were happy throughout. Thanks for hosting us.

Hotel is very new with nice big indoor and outdoor pools. I got a panoramic, unobstructed view of the ocean from my room. The room is spacious and modern. The hotel staff was also very friendly. One minor thing is that the hot water didn’t work well. The water was hot for the first 2 minutes then it’s more like room temperature. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Jag bestämde mig för att testa inomhuspoolen, det var ett misstag. Vaknade upp med ögoninflammation dagen efter. Bastun är ingen bastu, det va något helt annat. Frukost va inte inkluderar och det va väldigt dyrt att lägga till. Det är ganska långt till där den flesta båtar går till ha long bay. Tycker att det ska finnas mer information från hotellet vad som finns att göra runt hotellet under den årstiden man är där.

Great view of the harbour and boat fireworks at night but it can get a bit noisy when the boats come and go (loud music and karaoke), but it makes it exciting.
A good location for local shops, bars and restaurants and only short taxi to the tourist area. It's also just 2km from the start off the Ha Long Bay marathon.
Good selection of food for breakfast, all nationalities are catered for. The tables should be cleaned a bit quicker and the same applies when items are used up. Staff should top the items up quicker, rather than wait until asked.
Bit of a nuisance was the attitude of the indoors pool man who was too lazy to get us clean towels and bring them to the outside pool that we was using (he would rather be on his mobile phone). It would be better if the hotel had clean towels stowed near the outside pool entrance area to save guests going and looking for them.

Amazing hotel and staff, couldn’t do enough to help us & arranged our cruise around Halong Bay. However, hotel wasn’t in a great location for dining in the evening & we couldn’t find any veggie food in the area- not the hotel’s fault of course! (We ate in the hotel and it was lovely!)

The overall experience of this hotel is very good. Only the table arrangement in the hotel restaurant need some improvement to make sure a guest not losing his table after getting food in buffet

It was very nice because it was clean and well-maintained.

Service from the staff is what kept me extending my stay. Special thanks to everyone. Thanks too Ming for chatting to me. Room was spacious. Bathroom was big too. Room was cleaned daily. Herbal tea. Bottled water. Cold aircon. King size bed. Great bunch of expats in the hotel too. Nothing was too much for the staff. Transfers and cruise organised. Assistance for shops etc. I will return.

Staffs are nice, friendly and helpful.

We were there about four nights after super typhoon Yagi devastated the area. Although very little was up and running around Halong Bay, the hotel was operating and we felt very fortunate to have a safe place with running water and electricity throughout our stay. I have the deepest admiration for all the staffs at the hotel for their resiliency and professionalism in the face of such chaos and destruction. A special thank to Pham Minh for always greeting us with a smile and for the informative conversation about the area. I once heard that you don’t know a person’s character until you see them operate under extreme adversity. From what I observed, they have it in spades!

It's located outside CBD, so its quiet but need the transportaion for visiting spots

Amazing stay, big unit, amazing staff, amazing kids club, amazing breakfast, amazing pool…we loved everything, would go back anytime!
