I stayed at the Anah La Quinta by Sunest from the 5th to the 12th Feb. My concierge for the week was Isabel. The accomodation was clean, spacious, comfortable and secure. The housekeeping was to the highest standard, and the staff were helpful and friendly. Isabel in particular needs to be singled out for praise, because, despite arriving on a public holiday,
Isabel made herself available and couldn't have been more helpful.
There is a clear distinction between the types of accomodation available. If you are looking for more than a hotel room I would advise you to select accordingly to avoid any misunderstanding.

Staff was such a pleasure, room was immaculate, easy process. Front desk wenr over and above. If you need anything you have contact through WhatsApp at anytime.

Hadn’t had a chance to like it or not.

room was clean and modern. Staff was lovely. Building is fairly new and so it was aesthetically pleasing.

Check-in was simple. The front desk is helpful but limited as to what they can help with within your room.

We are very happy with the room size and configuration - two full bathrooms with plenty of storage and comfortable meal prep and dining. There's also a balcony for a bit of outdoor space.

Unfortunately, the room shows some indication of wear and tear with both toilets intermittently not flushing and one towel bar that comes away from the wall. We're managing to fix these things ourselves so far.

In fairness, toilets are an issue in PDC. No paper at all in the toilet - only in the garbage. Toilets are sluggish and will not completely flush or refill with water.

BIG ISSUE: We are on day 3 of our stay and our safe will not open. All valuables, money and phones are in the safe. After several hours, concierge 'Jose' has responded to front desk staff informing them that he will not be coming to gain entry until tomorrow.

Hoping this service level is not indicative of how things will continue for our stay.

Accommodations very comfortable and spacious, close to restaurants, beach and beautiful 38th street. Just off 5th Avenue on the quieter side but just a short walk to all the action. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking available if you drive. Our concierge, José, was always available to answer questions and solve any issues that arose.

Well sited and beautiful apartment in a very nice building. Sadly the shower is very poor and according to our host, that is how it always is. TV works but no channels, it also still has the packaging attached. Floor was I noticed moving, but that was just the dust and the a/c moving it. Host contacted me several times during my 48 hour journey to have a photo of my passport, even when already scanned by reception, and emailed to him. Seemed very important to him, not so for me. Pointless for me. Zero hand soap, but as there was hardly any water flow that didn't matter so much. Ran out of toilet paper in one night stay without bizarre bodily functions. Host advised we could have more toilet paper for 2 dollars (strange currency to use in Mexico I felt) but cannot say if this was for a roll or one square. Host was however compliant with checkout. I am hoping he has the 2 dollars ready to get the toilet ready for the next guest.

It’s nicely located and quiet. The staff is very friendly and all spoke English quite well.

The location is amazing. Right on the quiet side of 5th avenue with quaint restaurants and bars. You definitely feel like more of a local in the neighborhood. The beach is a few blocks away. The building is new and well taken care of. The room was clean and I felt very comfortable and safe.
One thing to mention is that this isn’t a “hotel” like you are traditionally used to. The rooms are owned and managed by property managers. I see that as a plus because you work directly with the manager instead of relying on hotel staff that may or may not be able to help. This set up is very common in Playa if you aren’t stayin at the Hiltons of the world. The property manager was great and always available and made me feel at home. The pool was relaxing and has a view of the ocean. Overall highly recommend!

Apartment was new and a great location. Close to entertainment, nightclubs and stores, but peaceful at night,
I will definitely go back to the same place, So, if you love night life and peaceful sleep, this is the place.

It was literally better than many resorts. We had a two bedroom with two king size beds. Full kitchen, fridge ,microwave, two showers, very clean, sleek, contemporary modern. This hotel was immaculate and pricing was very affordable. Had a rooftop pool, had an elevator, the entire hotel was very clean and the elevator worked perfect. I will definitely stay here in the future. Walking distance to beach, night life, restaurants, etc. I was very impressed and my one night was flawless…bed was very comfortable.

Really nice hotel right on the quieter end of 5th Ave. The check-in process was a bit odd and took a long time but the room was very nice and clean and there is a pretty rooftop area!
