Worst stay iv had at a Hiltern and will not be returning without changes and clear communication in future about changes
Pros:

Cons:

I stayed at the Hilton in High Wycombe for one night, and the experience was deeply disappointing. Despite booking and paying for a super king room, we were placed in a disability room, and the bed was more like a large double, not a super king. When we asked about this, the staff member we spoke to regarding the room was kind and helpful. However, when we inquired about the fire alarm, we spoke to the general manager, who was dismissive and rude. I also tried to work in the lobby, but when the real fire alarm went off at 11:30, it caused a shutter malfunction, creating a loud banging that disrupted both my work and other guests. Although the hotel said there were signs about a planned alarm, we didn’t see them. This lack of clear communication and the inconsistency in service was unacceptable, and I would not return.

Great stay, the staff were absolutely excellent, very friendly, made the stay that bit better.
Pros:

Clean, tidy modern.

Cons:

It was bang next to the M40 but my grandson loved that, and it didn’t actually really matter. Couldn’t really hear it.

Good value for money will definitely be returning when we return to this area to see family again 🤗
Pros:

The staff were very helpful, friendly and professional.

Cons:

The beds were a bit on the low side and there wasn’t enough blankets on the bed but I suppose that is because of the time of year.

The staff were welcoming and accommodating, but unfortunately the cleanliness of the room took away from the overall exp
Pros:

Conveniently located just off the motorway, with a good breakfast and, most importantly, incredibly friendly and accommodating staff.

Cons:

The only downside to our stay was the cleanliness of the room. It appeared the area around the toilet had not been properly cleaned, as there was urine on the floor beside it. The shower also smelled strongly of mildew, and there was visible mold on the walls and ceiling. When I went to shower, I picked up the bath mat to place on the floor and noticed a large light-brown stain underneath it in the shower.

We mentioned these issues to the night staff member downstairs, and she was very kind and immediately offered to move us to another room. Since we were already settled in, we chose to stay. The housekeeping staff had already left for the day, so she personally came up to clean the room herself, which we appreciated.

I’m not sure whether I would stay here again, though the staff’s friendliness and willingness to help definitely made a difference. If you do decide to stay here, I’d recommend bringing shower shoes just in case.

Save your money and go for a budget hotel for a far superior experience
Pros:

The location

Cons:

The room smelt strongly of smoke, when reported I was told that “ on this occasion they would change my room “ and reluctantly moved me with no apology as if it were my fault.
The bed is rock hard. The tv didn’t worked and the breakfast is dire.
The staff are bored and unhelpful.
