Great location; friendly and efficient staff; comfortable room despite the extreme heat of our stay in Basel
massive roadworks around the hotel made access a bit difficult, but this was not the fault of the hotel
De locatie is prachtig en de service die ze bieden is super. Je hoeft het maar te vragen en het wordt geregeld. Verder zit je in het centrum en zit het meeste op loopafstand. Het is een groot pluspunt dat je gratis met het openbaar vervoer kan reizen als je in dit hotel verblijft.

We spent two nights at Hotel Märthof and had a really lovely stay. The room was cozy, spacious, and very comfortable. The reception staff were amazing—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Basel, and the hotel is very easy to reach from the main train station by public transport. We also had both lunch and dinner at the hotel restaurant, and the food and service were excellent. Overall, a wonderful experience. We would definitely recommend Hotel Märthof and would happily stay here again!

Hartje centrum, prachtig gelegen. Parkeergarage zeer dichtbij. Heerlijke ruime kamer met zeer goed bed. Fantastisch ontbijt buffet.
Wij hebben er ‘s avonds ook heerlijk gedineerd.
