Great room, poor customer service.

Cons:

Room was great. I am a bit disappointed in the customer service as I was not aware that I had to pay for the underground parking and not asked if I had parked my car in the yellow bay parking lot. On departure I asked about the parking and was told that it’s my responsibility to check and as they couldn’t back pay the parking fee that I may get a fine. I have stayed in other hotels in the uk and I am usually asked if I have parked a car and never been told that it’s my responsibility to check, this is not great customer service at all. I was happy to pay for the parking and would have paid on arrival if I was aware of this rule. I have tried contacting customer service to sort this out but the numbers come up as busy and it is impossible to get through.
