Fantastische hotel op een fantastische locatie
Pros:

Wat een fantastisch hotel op een fantastische locatie. Alles was tot in de puntjes netjes verzorgd en sfeervol. Kregen een gratis upgrade van onze kamer en hadden een heerlijke kamer. Een bijzondere plek waar we graag nog eens terugkomen en van alle gemakken voorzien. Tot paraplu's voor de (helaas stromende) regen aan toe. Heel vriendelijke gastvrouwen ook, zowel bij de receptie als bij het ontbijt. Enorme aanrader deze plek.

Cons:

Niks (alleen het weer ;), dus komen graag nog eens met zon om op het terras te eten en te varen))

Fantastische locatie in Engelse sfeer
Pros:

Prachtige locatie met fantastische tuin. Engelse sfeer en heel rustig. De kamer was erg netjes en schoon maar voor de prijs niet uitermate bijzonder. Alles was helemaal naar wens.
Het bijbehorende restaurant was goed maar voor ons gevoel te duur.

Cons:

Niks viel tegen. Wel een prijzig.

We stayed at Hotel Flora Batava as several families with children. Unfortunately, our experience did not match the high rating of the hotel.
The rooms were not necessarily old, but the overall quality, comfort, and standard of the rooms were disappointing and below what we expected from a hotel with such a high rating. The bed was also not comfortable.
The breakfast was very limited, with very few options. What disappointed us even more was the service during breakfast. The staff often seemed to ignore our requests, and we sometimes felt as if asking for something was an inconvenience rather than part of the service.
Coffee was another frustrating part of the experience. We were repeatedly told to use the self-service coffee machine instead of having coffee prepared by the staff. On several occasions, I even had to go directly to the bar myself to ask for coffee because no one attended to our request.
On our last day, when I asked for a freshly prepared coffee instead of coffee from the machine, the waiter told me that I would have to pay extra for it. I was genuinely surprised, especially since our stay included breakfast. Considering how limited the breakfast already was, I would have expected much better service.
The best part of the hotel is definitely the surroundings. The area around the hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and very pleasant, especially for families.
Overall, considering the standard and comfort of the rooms, the very limited breakfast, and particularly the disappointing level of service, I honestly find it difficult to understand the hotel’s high rating. The surroundings are beautiful, but unfortunately the hotel experience itself did not meet our expectations.

Ohne Hund ist der Aufenthalt empfehlenswert

Wunderschönes Ambiente. Schönes Zimmer. Sauber.

Cons:

Wir haben uns mit unserem Hund nicht willkommen gefühlt. Zum Glück war schönes Wetter und wir konnten draußen frühstücken. Bei schlechtem Wetter hätten wir mit dem Hund nicht frühstücken können weil Hunde im Restaurant nicht erlaubt sind. Wir haben in unserem Fall einen älteren Mini Malteser der immer in der Tasche ist und niemanden belästigt
