Pros:

The staff were kind

Cons:

The room was very small and because of the cold nights it was very cold also in the rooms, although we had AC on 29 degrees all the time. But I guess the buildings are made that way, because it was drafty everywhere.

Love our stay at Dots, such a great location
Pros:

Loved the loft space. It made it easier to spread out. Also loved the view from the room as well as being able to open the windows to allow some fresh air into the room.

Cons:

The stairs were a bit tricky at times

Na krótki pobyt jest ok.
Pros:

Lokalizacja. Blisko do stacji metra i atrakcji, spokojna okolica, brak tłumów.

Cons:

Bardzo mały pokój, antresola zrobiona nisko by zmieścić drugi pokój, bardzo wąski korytarz jak ktoś ma duże bagaże musi się nagimnastykować, także nie ma szafy, półek itd.

We didn’t stay and lost our money. Save your money and go somewhere else.
Pros:

The only nice thing was the elevator. Nothing else was a good experience. Very misleading.

Cons:

Upon entering the lobby it smelt like a septic tank. The room did not appear as shown on the website. The wide camera lens makes it a lot larger and taller than it actually was. If you are 6’ tall you’ll hit your head in the loft area. Speaking of the loft, we began itching while seated on the sofa. The bed area is approximately 40” in height. Two twin mattresses were on the floor. Trash behind one according from my son. I couldn’t get under the area to sleep even if I wanted. The bathroom did not have much light, rust on the tiny shelf at the sink area. The offset steps to the loft looked cute on the website but in actuality were not the same in height and dangerous. We were not there more than 30 minutes and couldn’t wait to leave. I was willing to pay for the one night with us leaving. But the management would not refund anything. I wish I had taken photos of the entrance - the doors were so tiny. We were in shock and very disappointed.
I’m also including my disappointment with Booking.com for not helping us out.

Disappointed in the room but the friendliness of the staff made up for it.
Pros:

Staff were amazing. Friendly and very helpful.
Location. Short, easy walk to train station. Main train station (Ueno) is a 20mins walk from hotel.Taxis always available on the street.
Plenty of places to eat around, good little coffee shop, just down the street. Local bakery was amazing. Supermarket (My basket) is a 5 min walk and has everything with friendly staff.
Plenty of towels (6)
Washing machine in room was a bonus.

Cons:

The room configuration was not great. We were 3 adults with luggage and it was difficult to move around the room. One person was sleeping on a small couch, not a bed.
Strange steps (zigzag)to get to small living space (where couch is) that we found quite precarious.
Very small bathroom, even by japanese standards.

Bel hotel tra Asakusa e Ueno
Pros:

La struttura è in un ottima posizione a metà strada tra Asakusa e Ueno, tenuta bene. Avevamo un bel micro appartamento con vista Tokyo Sky Tree, in cui siamo stati abbastanza bene in 4 (2 adolescenti maschi...). La cucina è piu di nome che di fatto, ma a Tokyo generalmente si mangia sempre fuori e comunque um fornello e un microonde ci sono.

Cons:

Siamo stati a inizio gennaio e la casa era fredda, soprattutto di notte quando spegnevamo il condizionatore. I piumini erano un po' leggeri. Inoltre la gestione degli spazi no è ottimale, in una casa cosi piccola una stanza solo per la lavatrice è un lusso eccessivo. Molto scomodo il lavandino in corridoio

It was well located. The staff was friendly. It looks cute.

Cons:

The room was small, and we could sometimes hear the people in the other rooms. The room seems way bigger in the pictures, and it wasn't the most ergonomic.

Great family stay in Tokyo
Pros:

We love dots.!!! Great location, 10ish min walk to multiple subway stations in a lovely quiet area.

Cons:

We loved it all. If you’re looking to stay somewhere near the nightlife this isn’t it though.
