Good location, comfortable bed
Central location & off road parking.
We found the hotel quite noisy. Staff speaking loudly outside of our room at 5.20am. Think room 20 was outside staff entrance & close to kitchen area.
Location not far from rail station, walkable. Very clean, comfortable room executive. Breakfast was great, good choice and enjoyed the sausages and bacon. Staff very friendly.
All good
Staff were really friendly and hospitable! Room was comfortable along with the bed. The bathroom was very spacious considering we booked the ‘small double’.
A bit of a walk from the train station. And lots of stairs.
Very close to the centre of Harrogate
All the steps and limited parking
Excellent location, lovely staff, fabulous breakfast.
Bedroom spacious and comfortable
The bath was dirty, the plug didn’t work in the bath and floaters in base of shower after use.
Very clean property, standard room (although old) was large and comfortable. Staff on reception, particularly the lovely girl when we checked in, were smiling and helpful.
Door to bathroom had to be opened fully or the shelf under the mirror could bruise arms! Also the main door into the room could do with better locking mechanism to feel safe. Room 14 (first floor) had a large sash window which opened onto ground floor outside - disconcerting as passers by actually walked by and could fully see into the room 😱
Very good location with car parking and good restaurant
Staff so helpful, lovely clean hotel & great breakfast

Excellent location, cleanliness of the rooms.
Lack of air conditioning. I was in a 3rd floor room and it was far too hot. It would have been impossible to stay in that room during the daytime, despite the two portable fans they gave me. The hotel needs to invest in an AC system even if it is just confined to those top rooms. Also, I thought the dark grey carpet was very ugly! It spoils the decor in the hotel, which otherwise ie is very tasteful.
Breakfast was lovely.
Friendly staff
1. The fact it was in the middle of a heatwave and the room was unbelievably hot, even with window open!! As there was no air conditioning it would have been nice if fans had been supplied.
2. We did not like layout of room - when someone went to bathroom in night (which was situated at end of bed) a bright light illuminated straightaway and as it was a glass panelled door the light shone straight at bed/person sleeping hence disturbing them.
The Location. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The Restaurant served amazing food and great service. The bar was nicely decorated.
We stayed in room 25 - there was a square bath which was higher than a normal bath so quite challenging to get in and out. If we had been older or had mobility issues we would have not been able to get in. A walk in shower would be better. The drawers under the wardrobe were old and hard to open and when I took my clothes out they were dusty. The door to the room was difficult to open as it was stiff - I meant to mention this to the staff but forgot.
Excellent hotel and brilliant location.
