So surprised to find this elegant/classy hotel in little Copperopolis! The room (111) wasn't particularly large, but it was very comfortable and upscale. Would definitely stay again.

Great Gateway hotel!
Pros:

It is a very nice and comfortable place to stay in, for the beautiful style and great employees I love staying there which I’ve done twice in the last 2 months. I also am looking forward to staying there again and planning on doing so in the next 2 months!

Lovely, lovely hotel. Breakfast in a room with outside views that was something other than a parking lot. Such nice and friendly staff. The room was small but very nice. The hot tub and pool are indoors but still nice. They even have towels available poolside without having to ask. I would definitely stay here again.

We had to cancel our reservation the day before due to family care conflict. We were devastated but figured our plans were shot. Long story short we were able to proceed with our concert and although we canceled within the 24hr window, the Gateway hotel refunded us our original canceled reservation, booked us another room with no hassle at all.
Our first time staying here and from setting, to staff and room everything was top notch and clean/ inviting. The pool area/ jacuzzi were very nice and quiet. How the staff and property worked with us last minute was exceptional and much appreciated. My wife and I will 1000% be back, do yourself a favor and check out this Hotel and the surrounding shops. You won’t be disappointed!
