A brilliant hotel in Izmir - we really enjoyed our stay!
Pros:

A perfect hotel set in an excellent location

Superb facilities - outdoor pool, indoor pool, steam room, sauna.

Lovely comfortable room with a sea view

Reception (front of house staff, especially Guest Relations staff) excellent) - housekeeping excellent - breakfast staff excellent (best fried eggs I have ever had in a hotel - well done, chef!!).

Range of food served at breakfast has to be one of the best seen in over 100 different hotel stays

Cons:

Absolutely nothing adverse to report - a thoroughly enjoyable stay!!!!

Pros:

Grande chambre, jolie vue sur la mer, excellent emplacement, lit et oreillers extrêmement confortables, personnel très sympathique

Cons:

Peu de transats à la piscine pour accueillir tout le monde au soleil; la piscine ouvre uniquement à 10h du matin

Sauberkeit, Lage, Zimmer, Pool. Gutes, ausreichendes Frühstücksbuffett.
Höflichkeit der Angestellten.

Cons:

Wir hatten das Zimmer direkt im ersten Stock neben einem Raum, denke Mitarbeitercasino. Dien ganzen Tag und vor allem die ganze Nacht Türe zu, Türe auf. Sehr lautes schlagen, da niemand die Türe in die Hand nahm.
Gespräche laut vor der Zimmertüre.

Excellent hotel experience in Izmir
Pros:

Well its a Marriott - so you expect it to be good, but this hotel excelled at being good. The checkin experience was warm and friendly, we were arriving after a long day of travel involving several boats, taxis and a bus - I guess we looked like we had been through the mill. The guy who checked us in gave us a room upgrade with stunning sea views. The 2 rooms were really spacious and well designed - i headed straight for the pool and fitness centre (bring a swim hat) which has an excellent sauna and steam room. Later we relaxed upstairs on the roof with a well earned drink and beautiful views over the bay. The real star of the show was the breakfast - definitely the best hotel breakfast we enjoyed in our trip through Turkey - eggs benedict, pastries, waffles, and very good coffee among the highlights. I think the best part is the friendliness and warmth of the staff. Even though we stayed only one night and checked out the next day at 1200 they were keen to let us know that the kids could use the pool and facilities all day until our flight that night. Very impressed.

I asked for a bit late check out, but we were told that it's not possible ! although my wife has a Marriott membership. We did neither benefit anything with the membership nor even with such usual late check out option
