A dream
Pros:

An absolute dream from check-in to a genuinely comfortable night’s sleep. The staff was wonderful, the water view is stunning, and the rooms are effortlessly stylish.

Nice hotel with harbor view
Pros:

Hotel was very nice and lobby staff was great. The ocean view is a harbor with a sea wall. It was a nice area for walking along the wall, but if you are expecting a beach, this isn't the place. Room was clean. Rooftop dining was very nice - delicious food and staff was great.

Cons:

The first floor dining staff was a quite inattentive, and it could take some time before they stopped gazing out the window to notice the diners. A nice variety of foods are presented at breakfast, but it's best to get there early. The food sits under the hot lamps until it is all gone and after an hour, items like french toast are absolutely petrified. It looked like everything was held at safe temperatures but the more delicate items became inedible over time and were never refreshed.

Ik heb een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij Marriott Izmir. Vanaf het moment van aankomst tot aan mijn vertrek was alles tot in de puntjes geregeld.

Ik wil vooral het hele team bedanken voor de uitstekende service. Iedereen was ontzettend vriendelijk, professioneel en behulpzaam. Jullie gastvrijheid en inzet hebben mijn verblijf echt bijzonder gemaakt.

Het hotel is prachtig, schoon en goed verzorgd. De sfeer is ontspannen en luxe, waardoor ik me direct op mijn gemak voelde.

Nogmaals dank aan al het personeel voor deze geweldige ervaring. Ik kom hier zeker terug en raad Marriott Izmir van harte aan!

It could have been an incredible stay but…
Pros:

Amazing breakfast, very friendly staff, everything was super clean, and the views from the room were incredible.

Cons:

Unfortunately even though we were on the non-smoking area, because someone was smoking downstairs the whole room stank of cigarettes the whole night (we tried closing the window, ac, etc. It didn’t change the situation.)
When we raised the issue at the reception desk, they were reluctant to assist.
