Clean and easy access hotel.
Pros:

I arrived about 30 minutes before the 2pm check in (when most places are 3pm) and they were able to get me straight into my room.
Check out is also late at 11am.
They helped me with the steps to get my luggage to the airport.
There is an underground train station walkway just across the street (but isn't open late night).
Comfy rooms, good size bathroom, great amenities, ice machine and microwaves.
Plenty of izakayas and restaurants around as well as plenty of shopping.

Cons:

Although the fluffy Japanese pancakes at breakfast were a nice touch, the rest of the options were a bit limited compared to other places I have stayed at.
Also, my window was frosted so I couldn't see out which was a strange feeling.

Pros:

Location close to Ikebukuro Station is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is also great.

Cons:

Almost no storage space to put clothes.
The carpet in the room.has.seen better days.

Pros:

朝食がとっても美味しい！
池袋東口から近い
一階にコンビニがある

Cons:

洗濯機が2台しかなく、洗濯から乾燥まで一気にできる分、余計に待ちが長すぎた。
夜中に行ってもつねに使われていて、どうしてもその日に洗濯がしたかった私にとっては辛かった。
