My kids had the absolute best time together, my oldest felt incredibly special with all the birthday goodies.
Staff was absolutely out of this world—so helpful and thoughtful—and made every aspect of our trip flawless and so much fun.
The kids were ecstatic when they walked into the decorated room, and we were all in awe of how big, fun, and special it was.
The cabana was amazing, and the water park and attractions were an absolute blast!
My middle child was in heaven with MagiQuest and was thrilled to be welcomed into the Order as a Magi! It was such a memorable experience.
I can’t say enough about how great this trip was. The park is world class and I highly recommend it for a great family trip. We could be there for a week no problem!
We had the most magical visit with our three young daughters. The Lodge is new (opened several years ago), super clean, very well maintained, and the entire staff was super friendly and helpful. This really stood out when we needed to ask some staff for help in areas that were clearly not their responsibility. Our oldest daughter was tall enough to enjoy every ride and the youngest was limited due to height restrictions, but all had an amazing time designing their own adventures. We also splurged on some upgrades including a cabana by the pool which made for a more relaxing experience during breaks and some of the passes that allowed the girls to enjoy the non-water activities (e.g., ropes course, bowling, miniature golf, mining, and arcade). This is a hidden gem just 90 min east of SF/bay and we definitely plan to come back with more friend and cousins.
Our family had an amazing time at Great Wolf Lodge Manteca! The kids were obsessed with the indoor water park the slides, wave pool, and lazy river kept them busy for hours, and it was the perfect mix of fun for all three ages. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious, and having so many activities right inside the resort made the whole stay super convenient. We also loved the MagiQuest game and nightly story time, which gave the whole place that magical ‘Great Wolf’ atmosphere they’re known for. Food is a bit pricey, but that’s expected at a resort. Overall, it’s a perfect family getaway and we’re already talking about planning our next trip.
Our recent stay at Great Wolf Lodge was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the water park and pool area were wonderful—our kids had a great time, and the family-friendly atmosphere there really stood out.
Unfortunately, things took a turn once we got to our room. After unpacking and settling in, we found a roach on the floor. With a 9-month-old baby, this was extremely disappointing and concerning. We immediately called the front desk, and to their credit, they handled the situation quickly and professionally. They moved us to a different room with no questions asked, and their customer service throughout the process was very good.
Even with the prompt response, the experience left us uneasy, and because of that, we likely won’t be staying there again. It’s a great place for kids, but cleanliness is too important to overlook.
We've been to a ton of Great Wolf Lodge locations before, and were excited to check out this new-ish one in Manteca. We got a first floor Grizzly Bear Suite room with easy access to all the action, and we really liked the layout of this one with everything being pretty close together )so it was easy to grab food, do some activities, and get back to our room quickly). At any Great Wolf Lodge, we've learned that it's helpful to buy the Paw Passes so the kids get to experience a bunch of different things, and buy a meal plan before you arrive to save money dining on-site. We also like to get there early on our check-in day to enjoy the water park stuff before it gets crowded, and stay the WHOLE day of check-out so we get to really maximize our time. Just pack some extra clothes to change into. The Dunkin Donuts at this location makes it easy to grab an affordable breakfast, and the ice cream shop + pizza is a favorite for our kids. The pizza is really good, and it's an awesome deal, and they even had gluten-free for me, YAY!
Staff were amazing! Teresa at the front desk was so friendly and accommodated our early arrival checking in last Sunday and she also helped us get nearby rooms with my sister’s family. On Sunday afternoon I rode the two tube slide with my nephew, and my nephew was really scared to get on the ride once it was our turn however, there was a young man staffed at the two tube slide, and he helped reassured my nephew that the ride was going to be fun and safe for him. Long story short my nephew went on the ride and ended up, loving the ride.
Our stay at Great Wolf Lodge was a huge disappointment. The room was old, the beds were uncomfortable, and the staff made us feel unwelcome. On checkout day, housekeeping asked us multiple times if we were leaving — hours before the actual checkout time — which made us rush to pack. Because of that, we left our iPad behind. Even after explaining what happened, the hotel refused to waive a $23 shipping fee to return it. For what this place charges, the service and attitude were terrible. Definitely not worth the money, and we won’t be coming back.
The rooms are awesome and the water park
Kids and mom had so much fun
Pool was good
Really dirty rooms hairs in the shower.switch room same on second room.
Thank you for everything, great place, we had a lot of fun
Outdoor pool
wish the outdoor pool was open during the week, but other than that, we had a fantastic time, great rooms, the staff is amazingly friendly, no issues whatsoever with anyone including guests.
The online reservation process was excellent. They keep you informed before and during your visit via text. The experience for kids is excellent with a host things to do. The water park opening is a little late 10AM. I don't care for the late check in 4pm. And the cost for late checkout is costly. Parking is $19 but you can go in and out. #18 for a daily locker is too much . $53 for the breakfast package for 3 is costly but convenient to not have to leave. The lazy river is like a freeway with people running and swimming as well as floating on tubes. Don't get a room on the highway side unless traffic noise doesn't bother you. It would be nice if there were military discounts besides just the room rate. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Diego displayed excellent customer service on the ropes course. Overall it was a very nice experience.
This property had sommuch tondonfor the family. The environment is so fun. Wish we coildve stayed longer. We will definitely go back
My family and I loved it. We're planning our next trip . The hotel was very outdated though.
