Every birthday of my son I go we love this place we had an incredible time
Our family recently stayed at Great Wolf Lodge in Manteca, and we had an amazing experience! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how incredibly clean and well-maintained the entire resort was. The rooms, water park, restaurants, and common areas were spotless and clearly cared for by a hardworking staff.
What really made our stay special was the friendliness of every employee we encountered. Every staff member we interacted with was welcoming, helpful, and genuinely seemed to enjoy making guests feel at home. Their positive attitudes truly enhanced our experience.
For everything that is included, Great Wolf Lodge offers outstanding value for the money. Between the water park, activities for the kids, entertainment, and overall quality of the resort, we felt that every dollar spent was well worth it. Our family made unforgettable memories, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend Great Wolf Lodge Manteca to anyone looking for a fun and family-friendly getaway!
Omg the staff, and I mean that in the MOST AMAZING way. All the staff that we had interactions with went above and beyond, from the clerks working in the shops to the employee who spent 20 minutes helping my daughter get through the ropes course when she got scared. Everyone had a smile and a kind word! And I live in California so this is something that is not common for us. I would 100% go back because the staff worked so hard to make the stay enjoyable!
We experienced bug bites on the sofa and bed. It seems there are fleas or ticks, especially on the sofa. My wife and I were bitten a lot. Barnwood restaurant. The quality of the restaurant's food is very poor considering the price. Most of the staff are friendly. The atmosphere is nice, but after visiting a few times, it feels the same every time. It needs an upgrade.
Melissa at the front desk went above and beyond helping me with an issue with my cabana rental. I really appreciate all her efforts in resolving it for my family.
Manteca Lodge. We noticed a few critters (roaches and ants) in my expensive cabana. And that the fridge was restocked with water, but the rug still had the same paper and small crumbs on the ground from the day before.
The ADA room is ridiculous as far as accessories for disabilities. Absolutely nothing in the bathroom to set down items. No table, no chair. And the ADA rooms are the absolute furthest from an elevator! Which makes no sense at all. We always enjoy staying here because of the family atmosphere. But will never book an ADA room, too far! And I'm becoming concerned about the cleanliness of the indoor cabanas and putting my bags on the ground there.
Entire experience was pleasant and incredible! Facility was clean, all staff was attentive and nice, even the housekeepers were great! Lifeguards on duty and on point. Always keeping attention and not distracted. Our room wasn’t available when we arrived, but the front desk took care of us. Our room was clean and had no problems. Room walls were well insulated, could barely hear our neighbors. A removable showerhead would be a nice touch to wash the little ones a little easier. The front desk could use some help. There was a long line and not all the stands were manned. The line could have moved faster.
Overall, our kids enjoyed their trip. No complaints. We’ll definitely be back!
It was fun but when the fire alarm went off it was a scary momemnt for me and my kids it was a very unfortunate event
They are so sweet and compassionate to all the kids at the storytimes, meet and greets, dance parties and craft times. Especially to guests that have disabilities and need accommodations. For example, my autistic sister doesn’t do well in loud crowds or noises, but she loves to do art and crafts and wanted to participate. So, they allowed her to make her amazing character fan in the quiet corner, which made for a very sensory friendly environment.
Clean and lots of fun for the whole family! Definitely will be going back.
This was our first time at the lodge and overall very pleasant, and we liked the fact that we could use the water park all day during our stay, even before check in and after check out. The water park wasn’t overly crowded for a high peek weekend and it was under control “most” of the time. Unfortunately teenagers will be teenagers and sometimes we ran into some playing a bit rough, which the lifeguards missed a few times in the last river area. We also added the adventure and food package, but the kids didn’t get a chance to do the rope course, due to the shoe requirement that we weren’t aware of, and in my opinion, this should be something highlighted or in bold when adding this package, especially during warmer months, when a lot of families don’t think about packing closed toed shoes. The mini golf course and mine maze floor areas should be cleaned more often, they were a bit on the dirty side. We stayed in a themed suite for 7, but the main bed could have been a bit larger though, and for some reason we were only given 4 towels (both times) even though our reservation was for 6 people. We also had to ask to replenish the toilet paper in our room and the mini fridge wasn’t cooling very well. It would have also been nice to have a in suite microwave, because the shared one was a bit dirty and we had to report for it to be cleaned. So overall we were satisfied and it’s just a few minor/missed details that should be addressed.
Nice place been there 6/7 time, but the last 2 stayed was horrible; dirty & hair pillows & bed!!!
All the staff was amazing. Everyone was super polite and genuinely cared if we were having a great time and staff didn’t skip a beat. I will definitely be coming back as long as the staff is kept happy and involved as it was during our entire trip. I recently went to Disneyland and was disappointed the level of service has gone down and it’s super crowded and expensive. The dance party was awesome cause I got to watch the Mexico game at the restaurant Barnwood while my kids got their energy out before eating. Our server small blond with pink and blue ears with bowtie was the best server I’ve had in any restaurant in past 20yrs (apologies for not knowing her name). Junior helped us recover my daughter’s progress on her Magicquest when her wand went missing. I had my doubts, but place was clean, food was great, and you don’t have to spend your way into debt like Disneyland.
Spent two days here our youngest daughters birthday. Not to packed and everything was set out good. Easy to find everything. Arianna was great with our daughters , coached them up to do the rope coarse and was very helpful with our questions about great wolf beyond the rope coarse. Friendly smile and exemplary service.
The location was good, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the rooms were comfortable. Cleanliness was good, and the noise level was minimal, making for a generally enjoyable stay. Stacy at the front desk provided excellent service and was very helpful.
However, there were several areas that need improvement. When we arrived, the employees at the counter appeared to be focused primarily on daily customers rather than guests who had already booked rooms. As a result, we waited in line for approximately 30 minutes. It seemed there were not enough employees available to handle the volume of customers.
The breakfast experience was also disappointing. The employee working in the breakfast area was not friendly and did not greet guests with a smile. She questioned us in a manner that made us feel as though we were trying to take advantage of the breakfast that we had already paid for. She appeared confused about how many members of my family had entered for breakfast and did not even scan our wristbands. The way she asked her questions felt inappropriate and unwelcoming.
Additionally, the elevator was not working during our stay. Having to use the stairs was particularly difficult because my mother is 80 years old. This created a significant inconvenience and should have been addressed or accommodated more effectively.
Overall, the stay had several positive aspects, but improvements in staffing, customer service, and facility maintenance would greatly enhance the guest experience.
The rooms need to be more cleaned we got bit up this is not ok
Manteca, CA
Upon check out, attended explained nicely how to apply the free parking pass.. but it didn't work! With a line of cars behind me, i had to pay for the 2 days overnight. I was the Ministerial Officiant for the wedding of Jacob and Zoe Tarango-Aloisi. There is no where listed to bring this concern, but i would like to think Wolf Lodge is candid enough to look into this and refund the approximately $100 to the card on file. Diane Aloisi. 530.354.0076 thank you for your attention to this matter.
Great place to visit with the family my kids love the place my room was very nice and clean
Loved the atmosphere 😊 Everyone is so kind and the rooms are very clean
Had a great time at Great Wolf Lodge with the grandkids. So much to do there at the Manteca location. The atmosphere there was amazing. The rooms were very clean and comfortable.
