Cosy heritage hotel in a central location in town
Pros:

Cosy room with comfy bed, large ensuite, and parking available. Great bistro downstairs, with excellent meals.

Cons:

A little noise from the street and the bar downstairs, but after closing at 9pm, it was pretty quiet. Fire escape stairs for early morning departure were a little scary for seniors with bags, in the rain.

Loved my stay.
Pros:

Clean, comfortable, cosy.
Had everything I needed.

Cons:

Nothing I didn’t like, but it would have been helpful to know that if returning after the hotel is closed access was via the rear fire stairs.
A local person helped us as he knew what to do otherwise we would have been stuck outside!

Numurkah Sojourn
Pros:

The size of the room and the large bathroom/toilet was so comfy. Carpark at the back of the hotel for access to back upstairs entrance, or non-time-restricted on-street parking for front entrance was great.
An added bonus was, fabulous meals in the downstairs bistro, so we didn't have to brave the Wintery cold and rain.
One shop on the other side of the driveway, out the front door, we had a beautiful breakfast in a spacious cafe.

our room was over the outside drinking area, became a little noisy being a Friday and Saturday night. Other than that, I could not fault the staff, premises or food

Pleasant..great meals, nicely decorated and perfect location...but room could have been cleaner.

The meals at the pub were delicious and prompt.

Cons:

The room could have been cleaner...I would suggest getting rid of the mat on the benchtop where the kettle and cups are...it just collects dust and feels grotty. It's preferable not to have anything or a small tray which can be easily wiped. Bathroom was clean. The lamp and sife tables were also very dusty. I had to dust everything before we settled in...I shouldn't have to do that. Otherwise the room was convenient and nicely decorated.
