Perfect location and size for getting ready to get married
Pros:

Great location for the registry office. The room was so big. The perfect size for getting ready to get married.

Cons:

The room clearly needs to love and care and a bit of maintenance. There were some stains on the carpet and on the bathroom ceiling. Maybe a note about the water pressure. Beds were not comfortable at all and on had hairs and stains on it. Also no plug sockets near the desk with their mirror. With a bit of love and attention it could be great.

Great central location, good value for money
Pros:

Location couldn't be better although on the booking.com website it said there was parking, and there wasn't. The owner/manager came out promptly to deal with an alarm issue.

Cons:

Room could have been a little cleaner. There were cobwebs in the corner on one side of the bed. The toilet seat was loose, and the televison buffered no matter which channel you were on.

The location was good and central to Newark.

Cons:

Cleanliness and comfort of room was not great. Despite advertising towels being provided no towels were provided. Contacted customer service but no response provided so we had to buy towels from the local supermarket. So very disappointing given the price paid.

It was just ok
Pros:

The location had positives and negatives. It was a central location across from a park so nice views and easy access to restaurants shops.

Cons:

Because of the central location no on-site parking. Parking wasn't too far away but was paid for parking. On our visit the park was closed as some renovation work was on going. The bed wasn't great in the room on arrival there was bits on the floor in the room and a clump of long black hair on the shower, on the wall which was very off putting.

Nice little pad near all amenities

Great location. Clean. With mini fridge,toaster,microwave etc. Plenty of bars,resturants and take aways nearby.

Perfect location for everything you would need for a lovely couple of days away.

Easy check in and check out
Perfect for a weekend getaway for a single female. There’s walks, shops, cafe’s and restaurants all within a very short walk.

Cons:

The glass door in the bathroom.

Pros:

Excellent location for Newark town centre. Kettle and fridge etc. in room.

Cons:

No parking or breakfast, although both available a very short distance away. No staff on site so have to keep punching codes in keypads. Front door extremly heavy to open.

Pros:

The location was perfect - nearby to the centre and the river.
The apartment was very quiet and had alot of character. We appreciated the space, though the bathroom is a little tight!

Cons:

The mattress - definitely needs replacing; I could feel the springs bulging out of the side and had to lie on top of the duvet.
A few more cushions would make sitting more comfortable as there was only the one.

Excellent location for a night or two
Pros:

Location was excellent distance from both railway stations. The fan provided was a nice touch in the middle of the heatwave.

Cons:

Stained bedding, although apparently clean is not something want to see in a hotel. The entrance to the property was full of cobwebs and mosquitoes. Mattress made my back hurt like crazy. Windows are old and don’t open so very hot during a heatwave.

Pros:

Comfortable bed, central location, easy access and secure. Good shower and towels provided.

Cons:

No coffee machine or dining table despite described in listing. Free toiletries comprised a bottle of liquid soap on the sink and something in a pump in the shower which wouldn't work anyway. Stains on carpet, bedroom window wouldn't open and the window in the sitting area only stayed open when we put the teabags tin under it. Dusty, cracked windows. Husband bashed his knee on radiator when sitting on the loo: I had to sit sideways 😂 Not quite "executive" as advertised- was hoping it would be a treat for my husband on his birthday. Lucky we found the whole place quite funny
