Location
Unfortunately the main restaurant was closed for a function.
There was a lot of external traffic noise
The smell is amazing. Love coming through the revolving doors and smell the incredible scent. Location and the view is amazing cocktails are delicious too
Valet parking is very expensive in that you are already parked but still pay a daily rate
The Kingsley never disappoints. I have stayed here a few times and love the atmosphere, rooms and staff who are lovely and so accommodating. Hotel is central and easy to get to the harbour, beaches and restaurants. Will definitely stay again.
Great location. Street parking easy enough to find. Lovely room & bathroom.
A real bonus is the chilled filtered water station on each level.
Bathroom layout was difficult for large people.
Unsure as to whether the Byron Bay cookies were free or if they were part of the mini bar.
New building, nice new rooms. Comfortable beds
Parking is expensive and a bit of a hassle. Very noisy rooms, despite being double glazed
Expensive hotel for what it is.
Pillows could have been better.
breakfast was fine. Rooftop restaurant was an iconic view of the city. Staff were excellent in all areas.
Degustation meal in the restaurant was very poor. We were charged $30 per head more than the advertised price plus paid extra for the wine which was supposed to be matched. Food was presented in a vary pretentious manner, particularly given the average quality. Duck was not cooked
Very convenient location, room was quiet and well appointed. We had breakfast on our last day and it was fabulous! Often breakfast is average quality and expensive - whilst it wasn't cheap and we did pay extra for a "proper" coffee the options were great, tasty and we really enjoyed the view. We enjoyed the slightly different architecture and decor - it's always nice to experience something a little different to the standard hotel vibe.
We had a little bit of trouble using the iPad to switch the privacy setting on and off. Not a big deal, and reception was able to assist.
The style and decor of building
No pool in house
It was clean and great design in decor and very comfy bed.
Could have had more tea and wider variety of flavours.
