Just book this place if you want a great hotel in Cardiff
Pros:

Amazing location and beautiful decor. We celebrated our wedding anniversary in Cardiff and stayed at the Parkgate Hotel. the guest services team made it super special for us and gave us a beautiful room.

Amazing location and excellent hotel
Pros:

The location was perfect, the hotel was really clean and tidy and had a wonderful feel to it. It smelt amazing too! We felt like we were really looked after.

Fabulous location!
Pros:

The staff were wonderful very attentive on reception & breakfast room. Bed was extremely comfortable

Cons:

The room was a lot smaller than we imagined, Very restricted on hanging space for clothes. Didn't represent the price we had paid.
Cooked breakfast served in Sorting room was cold.

Pleasant enough but other hotels in the area of similar standard are much cheaper
Pros:

Location was great - lovely building - very clean - most of the staff attentive. Breakfast good. Card and complementary macaroons left for my husband were very thoughtful.

Cons:

Bar staff could have been a little more switched on - not serving customers in order of turn. If unsure who is next should ask. Kettle no where near a socket - room did not appear well thought out in terms of preparing hot drinks.
