Perfectly Positioned Parkgate
Pros:

Hotel is ideally located for visiting Cardiff. Room was modern, clean and with good facilities.

Elemis toiletries made for a nice touch.

Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Only drawback was lack of parking, parked at the nearby NCP car park, £32 for 24 hours.

Very nice thank you
Pros:

We had a very positive experience overall. The receptionist who checked us in was extremely kind and welcoming. We would also like to mention the housekeeping lady (I’m sorry, I don’t remember her name — she was blonde and very friendly). I needed some body lotion and, although the hotel did not provide it (which I found a bit unusual), she solved the situation quickly and with great kindness and a lovely attitude. We truly appreciated her help. We would also like to thank the gentleman at reception wearing a jacket who kindly helped us with the water in the lobby. Even though he was busy working, he noticed we needed assistance and came over to help us without hesitation. That level of attentiveness really stood out. In general, the breakfast staff were absolutely excellent — truly top-notch in terms of service and friendliness.

Cons:

On the other hand, we were disappointed with the attitude during our short staying with of one of the receptionists (I believe his name was Roberto?). I think he is spanish, I am Spanish myself, we spoke in English, but I found his manner somewhat distant and lacking warmth. He barely made eye contact, and when I.ve asked him an important question regarding my wallet, he dismissed it as unimportant and changed the subject without really engaging. I was surprised by what felt like a lack of warmth and professionalism. I believe he could learn a great deal from his colleague who checked us in.
