Cons:

Perfect place to stay in the centre of Hobart, would highly recommend it for a weekend city break.
Pros:

Location was excellent, right in the centre of the city close to the shops. The harbour and some great restaurants were only 5 mins walk away and Salamanca market about 10 minutes' walk. Room was great, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We were upgraded on our arrival, our new room had lovely harbour views. Chocolate hour was a nice addition, just something a little different.

Cons:

Nothing, all was great.

Pros:

Location. The Italian restaurant was very good . Bed was comfortable. Bathroom with glass door was a very intimate experience, what’s wrong with a proper door for privacy!!

Cons:

Dark everywhere, everything either black or grey including the staff uniforms! Check in staff not particularly friendly. No bar area to enjoy a drink, just a small little dull area with a couple of sofas in the foyer.

Wir haben ein kontinentales Frühstück bekommen, obwohl wir ein ausreichendes Frühstück gebucht hatten. Dankenswerter weise haben wir dann beim Urgieren den Restbetrag retour bekommen.

A good (2nd) stay but most likely be the last
Pros:

Location is really good. Very central. Most of the staff are super helpful and accommodating. There were a few issues with rooms not being cleaned when requested and promised bottle of champagne not being taken to the room but the staff were quick to resolve problems.

Cons:

This is our second time to stay in Movenpick. We had such a great time the first time only 9 months ago that we decided to stay again and even invited my in laws to book a room as well. However, we’ve been disappointed with the constant reminding and validating of our breakfast inclusion with our package. Even the staff confirmed that there seems to be a breakdown in communication between the front desk and the kitchen, etc. The menu is still very much the same from the last time….not a big issue but got a lil disappointed.
