My childhood dreams can true to see the Wild Ponies!
Pros:

Loved the location, and the property. They were very kind to me!!
I was nervous because of the previous reviews, DONT let that stop you from staying here! Right next door to the carnival and Wild Ponies were held there as well. I will def be coming back to stay here again!

Cons:

Mosquitoes but they were everywhere on the island when I went!

We were supposed to stay two nights but only stayed one night.

The location was good

Cons:

The room was full of flies and smelled moldy. The microwave was plugged in to an extension cord which was plugged in to the TV. The small refrigerator wasn’t working properly and barely kept drinks cold. I had to go buy fly swatters and air fresheners. The pool was green and dirty. Shortened stay tried to check out office was closed.

My room was suppose to have a full kitchen when I arrived there was no oven it was just a hole. Flys constantly In our room It was gross. The wood floor was peeling. The pool was dirty.

Although our room my good.... my brother had problems and had to be moved four times.
Pros:

Me and hubby were happy with the room. Slept well. Bathroom is small but not a big deal. However the corners of the bathroom floor could have been cleaner.

Cons:

Didn't like that all contact was by phone. Never saw a person at the desk. The office was always locked. However whenever I called someone always answered. Housekeeping was VERY friendly.

The stay was fine just not what my sister paid for.

The pool was good. The bed was comfortable.

Cons:

TV didn't work in first room (16). But was nice. Got moved rm 18 because of TV. No power or air condition. Went back to office to get another room. Moved to rm 19...no TV and bed not made. Was then moved to room 15. Faucet was leaking but decided to stay because it took an hour and a half to finally get a room by 10:30 and we got there at 9. This room was a step down from what my sister paid for.The stay was fine

Very, very dated. Looks like it hasn’t been undated since 1990. Rug in room was lumpy, not sure what was under it.

It was convenient getting to places close by, but for 500 dollars a night the room could have been better

No one was in the front office when we went to check in. There was duck tape on the door & the floor boards were coming up.

Leaves a lot to be desired.

Being on the Island was close to the park.

Cons:

The room, floor was separated, walls in the main room had damgae from furniture being banged into the walls, the furniture was miss matched, with visible damage in the wood, the outside patio chairs were old and broken. The bathroom had a huge Crack in the wall, holes where screws had just been pulled out of the wall. The towel rack held up by a 2x4. The pool is small and outdated in the parking lot. The water is across the street behind private houses.
