I loved that the property was next to a market. Although we had a meal at the Renaissance Dining Room, we more enjoyed the market next door.

Attention aux sommes retenues en trop sur la carte de crédit! L'hôtel a retenu une somme d'environ 200 euros en trop, ce qui m'a été confirmé à deux reprises, par deux personnes différentes à la réception. Cette somme n'a jamais été remboursée. Après un échange de courriels avec un manager, ce regrettable épisode s'est terminé par un cavalier: "Quel est le problème actuellement?", suivi d'un silence radio. Pour un hôtel de luxe, il s'agit d'un cafouillage malhonnête doublé d'un remarquable manque de classe.

1 Petit dej sympathique avec une hotesse accueil souriante.
2 Chambre sympa avec des petits defaut fuite dans la douche , frigo en panne , eau de la piscine un peu fraîche et pas horloge , le claquement des portes a remedier . Mais globalement bien sympa

Notre séjour à l’hôtel Renaissance s’est globalement bien déroulé. En revanche, nous avons été déçus par le manque de propreté dans la chambre, ainsi que par une désagréable odeur d’égouts qui remontait de la salle de bain et des WC. La piscine sur le rooftop est quant à elle très agréable, avec une superbe vue.

pas convaincue; la chambre est grande, et en parquet, ce qui est un gros plus surtout que les moquettes des communs sont très empoussiérées ; propreté pas au top dans la chambre : le frigo mini bar retiré ( pas d’info en ce sujet, c’est dommage en pleine canicule de ne pas pouvoir stocker une ou deux choses au frais), poussière pas aspirée dans la place vide du frigo, joints de carrelage dans la salle de bain encrassés. La douchette de la baignoire n’était pas fonctionnelle, brosse de wc usagée. Pas au niveau pour un 4 etoiles. Petit déjeuner : une seule personne aux fourneaux pour le buffet et les commandes particulières, il etait évidemment débordé avec de l attente pour se servir au buffet. En somme, passé le wahou de la très belle entrée dans les anciens sillots, hôtel sans plus.

The Marriott Renaissance in Bordeaux was a beautiful property situated near the wine museum and river walk. You could take a 40 minute stroll to town or hop on the convenient tram to Hotel Deville. We finished each night with a drink on the roof at the GINA rooftop bar and awoke to a delicious breakfast served up at the GINA restaurant. For Marriott comfort and customer service, I highly recommend this property for your stay in Bordeaux.

Une vue magnifique de la chambre, et encore plus de la piscine et du roof top au 9eme etage.
Les halles de Bacalan juste à côté sont exceptionnelles ont a envie de tout goûter !
Une nuit qui nous a complètement déconnectés.

Hotel is beautiful. Staff all so friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar really lovely with fantastic views. Gina restaurant- food is beautiful, really worth going to. Breakfast was ok.

Air conditioning not so great and suspect it is controlled by front desk. Property not in center of town but they did have a wine festival the week we were there and harbor is lovely for walking.
