Quiet and very good staff
We picked the Wimberley Inn & Bar based on reviews and because the atmosphere looked like a great fit from the pics. We stayed in the suite above the bar and it was perfect - huge room, walk in closet, comfortable L shaped couch, comfy bed and a nice walk-in shower with the best water pressure! It was private and quiet and a huge bonus was the first floor library where my husband took work calls while I lazed upstairs.
We enjoyed the pool both days we were there and it is a nice touch if you want a little serenity versus staying in town. We LOVED the bar! It was intimate and had awesome decor! Well the whole place has awesome decor.
Renea makes the best cocktails and even delivered our orders poolside on Monday afternoon along with lunch since the poolside bar isn’t open during the day on weekdays.
We got a salad, hummus and a pulled pork quesadilla. All of it was fantastic - Sam is a great chef! His raspberry vinaigrette is the best I’ve had an I really enjoyed the chili technique on the pork.
I don’t know how the bar wasn’t busy during the evening! Could have been because it was a Monday but it’s the coolest spot and when you have great drinks, great food and fantastic service and you don’t have to be staying to enjoy it. I especially loved enjoying the espresso martini Renea whipped up for us!
We look forward to returning on our next trip when I will remember to finish taking photos of I get a phone call again :/
Our brunch was wonderful, it would be nice if it was open for breakfast during the week
This was a great find. Simple and clean room. Beautiful pool. Nice amenities on the property including a pool bar with food. The main bar was so easy and good that we ate there both nights. Shout out to Mel, the incredibly talented server who handled nearly 30 people by herself and got everything right, while being friendly and fun. We would love to return someday.
It was a wonderful experience nice rustic room that was very comfortable. The place is a beautiful hidden gem and nice layout of the amenities. It also in a nice old town with great shops and restaurants in an easy walk around.
The Wimberley Inn + Bar is a stylish and comfortable hotel 1/4 a mile from the Wimberley town square. It has cool decor, is clean and quiet, with a pretty cool tucked away in the trees. The staff was so nice a accommodating. 5 stars- a great stay!
We stayed in room 1 so the bar was across the property so it’s a bit of a walk to get to and from it. The pool was nice but the pool house does not carry any extra pool towels so you have to hike back up to your room or the office. It was about a 10 minute walk to downtown but theres no sidewalks for part of it so I don’t recommend the walk with kids or strollers. In general they charge upscale prices that I do not think were worth it.
Beautiful grounds! The room was so nice with everything we needed with a touch of Texas charm. We loved the pool area and bar, and sitting outside under the trees in the evening with a bottle of wine listening and watching nature. Such a beautifully done place! Brunch in the bar was delicious, too. Terrific location to the square. Overall great experience!
Beautiful property centrally located
really the only issue which is something they really can't do much about is the parking
it's really hard to park if other people don't park correctly.
the chef is amazing! We had lunch the first day and came back and had brunch the following morning and then later that day went back and got dinner again. Extremely really good food. And Renea the bartender/waitress is absolutely fabulous, we absolutely adored her and loved her and she is wonderful.
Only thing missing is a microwave
The location was close by pretty much everything in Wimberley. It is a beautiful area. Room was spotless. One of the cleanest we’ve stayed in. Bed was comfortable, shower pressure was amazing. We can’t wait to visit again.
We had an amazing stay. Close to Wimberly square, just a few miles away from Jacob's well and Blue hole river was a huge hit for us.
Cute small property. Remodeled several years ago. The restaurant brunch is excellent.
Rooms were spacious. It was peaceful. It was quiet. It was clean. Pricey but affordable-ish.
Location overall in Wimberley, and location of my room right above the bar/restaurant. Lots of space in that room.
Friendly staff. Quite & scenic location.
