Pros:

Hotel seems to be newly built. Bathroom is very clean and modern. Beds are comfortable. Staff is very friendly . Great location and convenient to take public transport. Restaurants and shops are located in close proximity.

Cons:

Rooms are quiet small. Breakfast provided to us is by using the same menue and very little options available . For 4 days same menue. Room cleaning done only once for the 4 days, but they provided everything additionally from the front desk. Overall the hotel is good and only few things they have to improve.

Pros:

Fantastische locatie op kruising oost-west snel richting Gion en Kodaiji Tempel. De weg noord-zuid bracht je heel snel naar station, het kasteel en Golden Pivilion.
Ontbijt prima, maar wel enkele minuten lopen.

Clean, laundry in the bldg.

Highly recommend if you’re looking for the price/comfort balance.
Pros:

Off the main street, and basically a straight walk to Nishiki market. The rooms were good value for the price. Not flashy, but they have everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Cons:

Only a few outlets in the room. Not a big deal unless you need to charge a lot of devices.

I would not recommend, not good value for money, misleading score on booking.
Pros:

Possibly being close to Nijo Jo Castle and shopping street.

Cons:

Very limited services, crammed space, doubtful cleanliness, very tiny bathroom, cannot open windows. Avoid at all costs being next to, under or above the lavatory, the noise is similar to a plane taking off.
