Nice house - but stay during high season.
Pros:

A very nice house. We have been there during low season - so pool and restaurant were closed but it might be very nice during the season.

Cons:

Staff was unfortunately less helpful and we seamed to disturb them, as we were the only guests at the hotel.
Unfortunately we are not speaking Portuguese, so it might have been easier if we would.

Pros:

Situado na tradicional Av. Ipiranga, no centro de Petrópolis o hotel conta com instalações clássicas e banheiro reformado. O isolamento acústico funciona bem, evitando o som de veículos e, principalmente motos e ônibus que passaram a circular nas cidades em geral em número muito mais elevado. A parte onde fica a piscina, café da manhã, sauna e espaço para exercícios também é muito agradável, sugerindo apenas que houvessem mais opções de aparelhos aeróbicos, entendendo que o espaço para tal é limitado.

Gostei de tudo.
