Recommend for a weekend getaway
Pros:

Convenience to the train station. Room is small, but ample size for 2 people with their luggage etc. Bed super comfortable and blinds keep everything dark :)

Cons:

I did ask for interconnecting rooms, and didn't get this - which was a shame - but obviously understand may not be possible with busy periods etc.

Pros:

Location very good for those taking the train, it seemed close to shops, restaurants but I did not need any of those this time

Cons:

Not Applicable for this stay as it was only 1 night so I coulc catch my 8am train to Adelaide

Good value at the right time
Pros:

The pool is great. Location for that end of the city is excellent, close to trams, and Southern Cross train station. Suite was big and comfortable. The view from the station end of the building is better than the far end. The value is good during colder months.

Cons:

It was busy, being Victorian school holidays, the pool/spa area etc. Construction out the front can’t be helped, is temporary.

Great experience
Pros:

We loved the location, just across from the trainstation and the tram stop. Loved the pool and breakfast was a great mix of healthy options.
The bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

I don’t love chromecast as the tv option. That’s more of a personal thing. Advice is to download all your streaming apps prior to arriving.

Great location, stylish rooms, pool was very nice, gym adequate

Cons:

Air conditioner was quite noisy, some noticeable road noise and curtains didn’t have a rod which made it difficult to get them all the way closed to block out light
