Breakfast. Location.
Bright light on the fire alarm disturbed sleep.
The Samuel Hotel is very modern. You have to swipe your room key card at the liff and it takes you to your required floor so it means no other people on floors that they shouldn't be on. Location is brilliant if you have a concert at the 3Arena as it was only like a 5 minute walk down the street.
A young man which I think was a member of staff as we saw him in the hotel and then we saw him on an electric scooter in the city and he very rudely told us to move out of his way.

Very comfortable room, and the bed was fabulous.
So near the 3arena for concert was brillant.
When we went to the bar after the concert, service was very slow. But what was really annoying, no nibbles there, we'd to go to reception area to a vending machine 🤔,then back to the bar, why oh why isn't there one at the bar.

Clean and modern
The room was too hot to sleep and we followed the air conditioning instructions but it was still too warm. Also it was very expensive and we had to pay extra for breakfast (we thought it was included)
The breakfast was amazing, staff very polite,
50€ for early check in was a little expensive
Just outside the city centre but easy to get there , either walking along the river or taking the tram
Coffee shop in foyer was never open

Property is close to public transport access, tram available in 2 mins walking distance.
The check-in process was notably slow, with only two groups of guests present, yet we still had to wait at least 30 minutes to be checked in around 11pm. Room for 3 was quite small as well.
The situation was further complicated when we were informed that our rooms had not been paid for, despite the payment already being completed at the time of booking. We confirmed that the transaction had gone through and the amount had been deducted from our account, and we provided all relevant transaction details and references to the hotel staff. Follow-up emails were also sent to clarify the issue, but no response or confirmation of payment has been received since.
